Viet - Aus Kitchen & Cafe

Just moved to Rupanyup mid December and was told the butcher at Minyip is great so I buy my meat there. On my last visit I noticed a beautiful old building down the main street. Parked out the front and saw 'Viet - Aus' sign.Went in and first impressions, wow, decked out beautifully, met Kat, friendly young girl serving and chatted to Shane co owner with his Vietnamese wife who was in the kitchen making me the much loved by aussies pork roll called 'Bahn Mi'. Had lots when I lived in Adelaide and this one was a stand out.They have won a new customer for lunch on every butcher visit or anytime for that matter.Also shop is very clean and fresh.Would highly recommend when in Minyip.Dave

We love the food in the Viet-Aus Kitchen Café. It’s amazing, we love their pork rolls and Pork bowl. We order takeout every Friday night and love the daily specials. We especially love their home made fried rice. It’s a great place to visit. There is plenty of space inside and out. Minyip is so lucky to have such a wonderful café.

Had a lamb souvlaki and a sweat chilli chicken wrap, both were fantastic, was worth the stop.Hot chocolate was great. Give this place a try if passing through and you need a bite to eat

We dropped in for lunch for the first time and it a thumbs up from us . Good mix of veitamese and Aussie food. The pork roll was fresh and generous well above average. My wife had a lovely noddle bowel. Great service, nice surrounds with a fab veggie garden. All good , give it go.

Great Vietnamese street food and surprisingly in the middle of country Western Victoria! If you are ever in the area of Minyip, maybe on the silo trail or revisiting historic TV show and movie locations, make sure you stop in. Very friendly service to top it off!!

Visited today & got takeaway. Great food - crackle pork bahn mi was fresh & yummy. My kids shared a nuggets & chips & the serving was plenty. I also got the lunch special Pepper steak & it was also yummy. Thank you for providing Vietnamese Food in Minyip.

Bought a hamburger there recently and it was the very best I've had in many years. The meat was succulent, tasty and thick. We're going back this week. Sensational.

Great food. Requires a short turn off the main road. Young couple trying to make a go of it in struggling rural town.
