Our dad has lived at Akooramak for the past few years, prior to which he was receiving home care services through Akooramak as well. While he loved the visits from the home care staff, the long hours between them and his declining health meant he needed to move into full time care. That was when he really started to thrive. From the time he moved in he was welcomed and happy there, commenting to his family on many occassions that I couldn't be anywhere better
