The Mango Lassi was nice. The portion sizes were slightly overwhelming. Only gave it the number of stars it deserved because I’m not too fussed on Indian flavours. The female server didn’t seem really welcoming either. Should work on the smile.

Nothing that special.The prices were firstly really confusing for takeaway because they were different on Menulog, their menu on the website and when we actually went to pick up the food. Turned out to be more expensive than we anticipated.The papadums were a bit soft and the naan was quite tough and not very fluffy at all. The palak paneer was probably the highlight but the other dishes were fine, have definitely had better Indian elsewhere.

my impression was that there may be a recent change of ownership - inside seems more stripped down, cutlery made available with meal, didn't see tap water available.meal option signs at the front of the counter below the food aren't helpful - can't be seen easily when people waiting to be served. should be up on the wall behind the staff, as the signs were in past.food variety is great, and fairly cheap fast and cheerful (lets be realistic that ingredient costs in all kinds of food have risen signficantly)

The best!! One of my favourite restaurants in Sydney. Good energy. Good service and great food. I’ve been vegan, vegetarian and meat eater and always have something to eat. Highly recommend if you want a yummy casual bite alone or with friend!!

Usually ok but they should ask if we want fresh naan bread. Have gone here many times and the naan bread is like cardboard because it has been sitting in the silver tray for so long.Even when I have asked for a fresh one the staff say there is this one here ... and point to the hard one in the silver tray.Potatoes in the aloo palak are a bit hard and the sauce is more oily than creamy.Vegetable Samoa was yum.. a bit dry on the outside but ok.Onion pakora was too oily but once fixed with paper towel was nice.. bit crusty around the edges.

Is 30 min wait for a garlic naan normal ? Not to mention the portion size for $18.90 is well unserved… flavour in the food is good but won’t be coming back for a while. Not my best experience

we used to frequent the one in Oxford St - Newtown is out of my usual zone - I just happened to be there one day - the aromas of spices - ah ! authentic to me (I've spent months travelling in India) - delicious - I can't wait to go back - thinking of how to invent reasons to 'happen' to be in the area again soon ...[update] a mystery - we came here on Thursday 21/6/18 and enjoyed delicious aromatic authentic meals like I'd had in India - we came back the following Friday 29/6/18 looking to enjoy the same, and instead got bland, flavorless meals of quite different appearance, even vegetables cut differently and so disappointing - I assume must have been cooked by a different person. So - don't know - but if that's a regular roster, I'll recommend eat on Thursdays, avoid on Fridays !

Good selection of curries! The portions are big and fair priced. Try the butter and mango chicken !Take Away not recommended as the food is best enjoyed warm and fresh .
