If I could submit a zero star I would. The lady here is extremely abrupt and rude and I would never recommend her to anyone. She snaps at you when you ask her questions and shouted at us that we were wasting her time because we took 10 seconds to decide if we were going to get our alterations. Worst customer experience ever, thankfully we got better service elsewhere.

This is a really interesting shop. Lots of variety of lace and ribbons and fabrics and others sewing and knitting needs. The lady who runs it is helpful and knows her stock well. She also does alterations.

Avoid this place, asked for curtains to be taken up ten centimetres but instead took them up 1 metre and when I asked for my $30 back she outright refused. Very rude woman.

Unity is an interesting shop. Does good work for a good price. You have to have a good sense of humour. It's a bit like an episode of Faulty Towers. Be prepared to deal with the owner Unity, she is a classic.. Gotta love her.

ZERO! Worst customer service EVER! Even tho l rang first she was totally upbrupt and rude to me. And l then continued to do what she was doing at the counter and would NOT help me. I went to spotlight where l was helped with a smile. I had this treatment from the old girl a couple of years before. But not being well and thinking about supporting small business l guess l hoped it had either changed hands or the younger not so rude lady might have been there. DON'T BOTHER! Unless you want to be upset.

Awesome quaint little shop, a large range of anything you may need in the sewing department plus more and wonderful service. A place that makes you want to pick up and start again your forgotten project..

Terrible customer service, and rude with it. Does not know how to take up curtains, and does not complete work on time. Avoid at all cost. They are plenty of others who are much better around.

Steer clear of this one! Rude, constantly lied to me over a four week period about the progress of my order. When I'd finally had enough of the blatant untruths, I stated I would pick item up and how much did I owe for work already done? Her reply... You owe me nothing as I have done nothing. Four weeks wasted of my time and four weeks of lies on her behalf. Atrocious Business etiquette!
