Wayville Mitsubishi - Driven by Australian Motors

I booked my car service online through Wayville’s website, got the email Confirmation, dropped it off this morning with little to no drama. 3:23pm rolls around and I get a call stating my car is ready to collect. I call the service department back to let them know I don’t finish work until 5 so I’ll pick it up around then.. maybe about 5:10pm. Was told they were “winding up” at that time. When I asked what time they close I was told 5pm… okay fine apart from the fact their website states close of business for the service department is at 5:30pm. Which i pointed out only to be told it was the Sale Team there until 5:30pm— nope! Services department. I told them I would leave early and be there before 5pm……. Then 10 minutes later I get the most unprofessional, irresponsible, ridiculous call I’ve had from a business.. it went to voice mail as I was busy but when I listen to the message I saw red. I was informed that they can park my car on the street behind the service department, wrap my key up in a rag and place it in the exhaust pipe so I don’t need to hurry to collect my car!! Are you kidding me? What kind of customer service is that?? What would have happened if my car was stolen? I know, I would be at fault and not covered by insurance because the key was left in the car. I can’t believe how irresponsible your staff are with property that doesn’t belong to them.I won’t be back to Wayville and I suggest you update your service Department information with the correct operating times….. also lose this irresponsible practice.

She was extremely helpful and professional and answered all of my questions - nothing was too hard. She put me at ease during what can be a stressful process.
