Southbank Apartments

Great views, good WiFi and clean room

We stayed for 30 days in these apartments close to the city. Quiet and safe area with parking. While the actual apartment is nothing like its flashy advertising photos it's clean but well loved interior can be overlooked with the river views and super helpful staff. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Great place to stay...close to everything

I haven't stayed at this place, because my review is about trying to book accommodation with this company!I initially rang using my work phone (which is by Skype Business), and they didn't bother answering, it just rings out. Did this a couple of times before I tried calling using my mobile phone, to which they did answer. I asked a few questions, and the gentleman who answered couldn't give me any answers, so he took down my details and query and said he would call me back later (I'm still waiting on that call!). Then later on in the day since I hadn't heard back, I decided to call again and this time a lady answered. She told me that the reservations lady wasn't there (I rang the reservations number so this was surprising), and didn't bother asking me anything but said she would get the reservations lady to call me back on the number that has come up on her caller ID, then hung up. If it's this hard to make a booking (I don't have time to fluff around), I wonder how hard it is to get some service once a booking is made! I will not be using their service even though I work for a large corporate business that will have more international staff staying in Melbourne, short and long term!

Nice clean & comfortable great location

Great location, good price, but website didn't specify that 2 bedroom meant 2 double beds. Therefore kids had to sleep together. Also wifi is not free, but $9 per night! Clean enough but some fittings were loose or literally falling off the wall. Apparently the people knew it was loose but hadn't fixed it. Lack of a reception also meant we couldn't leave luggage after checkout on last day and had to store in lockers at train station. Not bad for the price and location

We loved the location. Views great & everything well serviced in the kitchen. Clean & happy with our 2 night stay. Would use this accomadation again.
