Black Point Road currently closed (6/11/2021) detour from the north was a very long dirt track, with alot of whoops and some soft parts after being used a fair bit. Still a very pleasant drive. But worth the drive out.

An absolute must stop if you have a 4wd. Any Of The tracks leading to black point aren't really hard tracks but can be rough at times. The effort is well worth it with what can be huge seas crashing onto basalt columns on the beach. Simply stunning location

Amazing place, had the whole place to myself for three days didn't see anyone. I came in via black point road which was meant to be closed missed that sign... The road in was flooded but i made it through, one section was about hundred meters long with water over the bonnet once you last that it's just sand tracks into black point.
