Barbeques Galore Gepps Cross

I went to Gepps Cross with the intention of buying a BBQ. After being asked a few questions and discussion with Jason, it was clear I had made the wrong choice! Hands down the best customer service I have had in years! Got my purchase setup today, without a doubt the results exceeded my expectations. I can’t rate my experience highly enough!

Walked in, purchased kamado Joe series 1, could not be happier, the lads there were really helpful and answered all my questions. Enjoyable experience and will be back!!

Went into the store and was greeted by Ben who helped us through a purchase of a new combustion heater. He was super helpfull and made the whole purchase a breeze.could not fault the service.

I've been in twice now ready to spend 5k, but no one around to serve. In the 20 min I was there, 3 others walked out due to no service.Trying to save money on wages is costing sales.

Very rude man with a ponytail at the Gepps X. On Thursday night not very good customer service skills was very abnoxious and I think a chook would have more people skills.

I go there to get my gas refills. Big range of barbecues and the staff are helpful.

Terrible customer service. Was made to leave the store without our click and collect as the staff had “25 years worth of experience” and just “knew” the box wouldn’t fit in our car. However after ringing two other barbeques gallore stores to confirm the box dimensions (which we previously measured prior to picking up from the online description), we headed back to the gepps cross store to pick up our order. It fit within our boot space with plenty of room to spare. This was a major inconvenience for us as we don’t live close by, and chewed up a large chunk of our day. To top it off the staff weren’t even pleasant to begin with, wouldn’t even offer to try see if it fit in our car the first time. When we went back the second time to get our click and collect we weren’t faced with any politeness or apologies, with them leaving the onus on us saying “if it doesn’t fit, we can’t take it back inside”. Not sure where they’ve devised that rule from, but okay I guess they have “25 years worth of experience”. Long story short, we were met with nothing but hostility and straight up rudeness, and after us doing their job for them because they obviously don’t know how to read product dimensions and measure a boot space properly, we’ll gladly not be returning customers here.

Very professional staff. Courtesy and knowledge were outstanding. It was great to receive such service and a smiling face.
