Lovely people doing a great job. Visited there last week, tried several types of honey. Bought some honey and have been enjoying it on my toast and in my hot lemon and honey drinks. Definitely recommend this business.

We heard about this place 3 years ago and thought we should investigate. Good honey is very difficult to find.What supermarkets have on display are not genuine, most are blends or watered down. Walkabout we were told is a small family operation. Which business would close 4:00pm week days and 3:00pm weekends?l was told that they closed early so they could do work around the bee farm.Since we learnt about the farm, we have made a day trip for the last 3 years just to have their honey. And you know it is genuine not a mix. Direct from the farm the price is very good and it is worth to stockpile ,because honey will never loose its taste.

We love this honey. Visited a few years ago for tastings and now order online by the bucket. The raw honey is lovely on porridge.

Excellent selection of delicious honey and mead, all locally produced. We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting, very passionate and insightful, definitely worth a visit!

We discovered Walkabout 2 years ago and have been devotees of their honey ever since. Especially the Bloody Good Honey! If you love honey do yourself a kindness and try Walkabout.

Me and my sister were visiting Milawa and were very keen to buy the local produce, which lead us to here. We were less than impressed with the service that was provided. Overtly rude and implying that we were misleading in our ages. We are both from W.A. so I provided my license and my sister proof of age card, to which the woman serving us was unhappy to accept as she had not seen one before and reported my sisters picture looked disimilar to her-it was taken ten years ago. We are both over 25!! I’m in my thirties. My sister then provided her passport which the woman serving us begrudgingly accepted. Now don’t get me wrong I’m more than happy to have my ID checked (flattered even) but I was disgusted by the woman’s behaviour as she did little to hide the fact that she thought we were alcoholics. It was purely a novelty thing to buy mead and I was extremely disappointed that my sister did support the business. I think my sister was embarrassed and didn’t want to have seemed as to waste the woman’s time. I left there feeling angry and my sister was upset. It definitely dampened our experience in the area. Regarding the mead I can not comment as my sister has not tried it because as we explained it’s a present for one of our other family members back home.

The lady serving us was extremely rude. A simple question about whether or not the candle wicks were lead free resulted in assumptions about us coming from the inner city, and basically that we shouldn’t be concerned about lead candles if we live somewhere pulluted already? (Which we don’t)..& that if I’m so concerned I should just make my own.. great knowledge of the products you stock! We were not offered a tasting until I had already taken a jar of honey over to the counter to buy. Extremely poor service and a disappointing experience. Not recommended.

I decided to get my sister some honey for her birthday we are from down northeast Victoria but now live in QLD I picked out the Mountain Harvest and also on Gregs advice got a Red Gum ..well one of the honey's leaked in transit when I spoke to Greg he said he would send a replacement such lovely customer service from the best Honey people my sister is going through crumpets left right and Centre she loves the honey so thank you Walkabout Apiaries' you have been great
