Delta Force Paintball Monarto - Adelaide

Me and the group of 10 I was apart of went to celebrate a 21st birthday party. We booked it for a 10am start which meant a 1pm finish. There were such horrible delays that we only just started at 1pm instead! a three hour wait and zero sympathy or concessions from the staff. There were only 2 staff members going out with at least 6 different groups of people.What started out as a 4 hour round trip turned into 7 and upturned everyone's plans for the day, people having to miss work, alter social arrangements, a complete mess. All up we were there for around 6 hours and only played paintball for 40 minutes. We had to leave before we could even finish all of our games.Despite all of this money and time being completely lost because of their stuff up, there was absolutely no sympathy or any attempts to make amends or offer any kind of compensation.Simply an awful experience, I can't believe I feel this way, but I would have much preferred to do nothing at all then play paintball here.This all happened yesterday

Great onsite staff, good fun, mediocre paintball marker combo, gross head gear, seems unsafe. Over an hour wait to check in. Poor refreshment selection.Expensive: (More expensive than you may initially think). 100 Groupon pellets will not get you through a game. Many people with 500 pack ran out part way through second game. I was pretty trigger happy and 1000 pellets got me most the way through to third game.Gross factor: on a 20 degree day we were sweating hard in the plastic helmets, wearing long pants and t-shirts under overalls, putting my head back into the helmet for second game with the wet, swet soaked sponge against my face I wondered how many people's swet I was sharing (the initially sweat smell indicates there is at least some level of hygine).Markers: ('guns') do not shoot consistently. You do have to expect paintballs to curve, and the air pressures to be down in a public environment where kids as young as 10 may be on the field, but higher quality markers, barrels and more importantly paintballs should result on more consistent trajectories, and for the cost they could spend more here).Safety: in our small group 1/3 (2 from 6) experienced paint ball ricochet under mask one on lip (luckily didn't enter mouth) and one broke around eye. I received a nice one on bare neck (but I could have buttoned overalls higher, not that I saw a single person do that). Some people were shot walking back after game and the staff member was repeatedly ignored when asking people to stop.Pain: not so bad, a little sting, we all had bruises developing on leaving, but that is to be expected and the latest technology/air pressures certainly result in less of a sting than my other experience over a decade ago.Staff: Our group leader and kiosk staff was good, clear, friendly and professional. A single staff member per game is not able to supervise sufficiently, resulting in cheating, people being shot by team mates in back for fun. I rang twice on Saturday morning to try and another member with Groupon vouchers to our online booking, was hung up on twice, firstly after saying hi"

The game settings are quite nice. Staff are quite helpful and I like how there's always one marshal who is very helpful with you during the game. The only problem is I booked for 10 am and our group was made waiting and didn't get to play until 1200. That was two hours of waiting and we were told we will get on the field first but then another group got put before us for some reasons. We were supposed to finish at 1 pm but we finished at nearly 3 pm. We didn't have breakfast since it is far away so we were hungry. There were also a fair bit of walking between games. It is really popular so we came at 8 but play in a group of 10 people for reach team. I think the price is pretty expensive compare to other places. We did have a good time but we probably wont come back

What an amazing day!! BEST 15yr old birthday party EVER!! TOTALLY recommend both facility and staff. They were great!! Already planning our next 'Adventure' day!! Thanks guys!!

Worse place to spoil your day , We have a booking at 10am and it’s been 10:40am we still standing outside the gates. No information,no one picking up phone,It’s disgusting, unprofessional. Please don’t come here find some other place

My son had the best time with his mate for his 16th birthday.The guys at Delta Force were super friendly, the maps were brilliant, the Marshalls were mildly good comedians and they did a stellar job ensuring that everyone had an enjoyable day.Highly recommend.

Great fun. Great fields and games. Easy to get to just off freeway. Staff were super nice.

Avoid at all costs. Great place to screw up a weekend. Arrived for a 10AM start and due to a system error" it was delayed until well after midday. The staff could not have cared less and the manager was particularly unpleasant to deal with. Most tone deaf man I've ever met. Colossal waste of money and godawful service."
