Beechworth Bakery Bendigo

Was in Bendigo for a leisure trip and can't go past paying a visit here as their food is yummy and there's a great atmosphere. I had an Eggs Benedict wrap and hot chocolate and wasn't disappointed.

Stopped in here a couple of weeks back for a coffee. Found the store to be conviently located. Good parking. The service was friendly and didn't have to wait too long. Plenty different products to choose from. The coffee was very good as well as the hot chocolate, we ordered. Well worth a stop.

Always a delightfully tasty place to visit. This time I noticed they don’t have as much variety of products as they used to have. Not sure if it’s the fact they can’t get workers since covid.Still delicious, good service and friendly.

Extremely busy, noisy, sausage roll filling was very mushy with not a great flavour. Pastry was amazing though.. May give another go if ever back in Bendigo..

Never disappoints. Very conveniently located near the tourist attractions. Staff are attentive and tables are cleaned proactively. Bakery foods taste nice and the coffees are strong and tasty.

It is difficult to score the bakery as they were out of mugs and plates in the afternoon we visited, so everything was served in disposable cardboard containers and disposable drink containers.I was surprised by the small amount of food/cakes we could choose from as well.The staff were helpful and polite, so they deserve recognition for coping with the difficult situation. The cakes were tasty and fresh.

Dropped by this place today to have a nice meat pie. Service was good , the steak and potato pie was a real let down , 70 % potato.. where is the chunky steak for God sake!!Paid $8 for a handful.of potatoes. Get your act together, pie was dry and tasteless.The custard tart on the other hand $5 was what I expected. Prices are a little on the high side. I'm still hungry

I recently had the unfortunate experience of trying a chicken pie and I must say it was far from satisfactory. As a connoisseur of comfort food and a fan of chicken pies, I had high hopes for this particular pie. However, it left me thoroughly disappointed and regretful of my decision to give it a try.First and foremost, the crust was a major letdown. It lacked the golden, flaky texture that makes a pie crust truly delightful. Instead, it was bland, dry, and crumbled apart with the slightest touch. It seemed as though it had been sitting out for far too long, losing any semblance of freshness or quality.Moving on to the filling, my expectations were met with further disappointment. The chicken was overcooked and dry, lacking any succulence or tenderness that one would expect in a well-prepared chicken pie. It appeared as if the chicken had been overly processed and lacked any distinct flavour. The promised assortment of vegetables turned out to be a mere afterthought, as they were scarce and poorly distributed throughout the pie. The overall taste of the filling was dull and lacked the richness and depth that a good chicken pie should possess. Very disappointed specially coming from this well known bakery
