No camping!! here day use only and gates shut at 7pm. GPS said it was scouts island and camping. Good swimming area.

Scout Island / Corra Llyn is a beautiful quiet place to sit by the river beneath a tree, take a bit of a dip or throw a canoe or kayak in the water and paddle further up the North Esk River.

Beautiful spot for picnic, relaxing and enjoying the river. As far as I am aware it is Not a public camping spot, the camp" is across the river and is used by Scouts accessed up river from this area."

10 minutes from Launceston and it feels a million miles away. You drive across a river to gain access. You have to bring everything but it is one of my favourite camping places.
