We have now used East Coast Car Rentals 4 times and I am very happy to say that the service is excellent as usual, especially the pick up shuttle driver Alma.She is super helpful and very friendly and is always smiling and courteous. Alma is how ALL service personnel should be in all industries.ALMA is a GEM and makes even a stressful day feel good for us.Hold onto her East Coast because she's priceless.

We had very good experience- booking confirmation was smooth, person at office-Bharat was very good and explained everything in detail and answered all our query and suggested best and practical solutions which made our life easier. Car provided was new car and in very good condition. Return of car was also smooth and was as explained by Bharat earlier. No problems at all at any point. He has even provided number to call in case of emergency (we never had to use that number but it gave us peace of mind that in an unknown new city there will be someone to fall upon in case of emergency)

6 adults visited Kangaroo Island from Melbourne. The Hyundai Staria was clean,efficient roomy and powerful. Reception at a'Beckett St was superb again

Rented Toyota Yaris hatchback but get the Hyundai i30 on pick up day. This car supports Android Auto, ACC, land assisting function, which is great. I'm very satisfied with the car condition. I would love to rent this Hyundai again.

Friendly service. Only inconvenience is pickup/drop off spot and check in office are at different places but both are quite close and in walking distance. Car been given is very clean and reliable so I have nothing to complain. I used discount code from company site and price is cheaper than other 3rd party site even after discount. Definitely will rent again if have chance yo visit Melbourne.

Extremely happy with our experience! Anees particularly provided exceptional service, was so friendly and helpful. Our flight was delayed and they stayed open late for us and still picked us up from the airport. Car was immaculate. Couldn’t have asked for better, highly recommend. Special thanks to Anees he made the whole thing perfect for us.

Really great and easy experience. Whole booking included cover and baby seat and extra driver so no stress there. Really lovely new, high tech car that was easy to drive (helpful for me, first time driving in a new city can always be unnerving!) and very fuel efficient. Friendly and helpful staff (when booking on the phone and when checking in/out). Would recommend!

Great service provided by the front desk, but the whole experience of renting a car with East Coast Car Rental was quite distasteful. Let me share why:1. Booked a Mitsubishi Outlander from the website 3-4 weeks before our Great Ocean Road Trip. On the website, it stated “SUV or similar”, and it showed the latest 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander. Tempted by this, I immediately made the payment for the Mitsubishi Outlander. However, upon making the booking and confirming the payment, it showed the previous Outlander model instead. To my dismay, when I collected the car, the only SUV model available was a Toyota RAV4 or an MG HS! So misleading! In the end, I booked a Mitsubishi Outlander but received an MG compact SUV instead!2. The car was not cleaned when I collected it. It was extremely dirty and we had to request the staff to quickly vacuum the interior!3. The car was not well maintained. Wipers weren’t operating optimally and it was hard to see during rainy conditions.Due to the experience above, our Great Ocean Road trip was somewhat affected with the car selection. No doubt the rates are cheaper than other car rental companies such as Hertz and Europcar. Nonetheless the experience I endured was not what I expected after reading the positive reviews for East Coast Car Rental.
