My husband and I stayed here.Outstanding place.Room was the cleanest place I have ever stayed. Extremely comfortable bed. Furnishings beautiful. Breakfast delicious. Owners so friendly and helpful.Very highly recommend a stay at this beautiful venue.

Riverside Rest is the perfect place to stay. It is located in a very quiet area with river views.Upon our arrival we were warmly met by Sharon, the owner and shown all the amenities on offer. Our room was spotlessly clean with fabulous bedding and a lovely ensuite. There was a wood fire in the lounge area which was enjoyable to relax in after a dinner in town. A freshly cooked breakfast was plentiful and was the homemade jam and toast. We enjoyed our 1 night stay so much we booked for another night stay on our way home from our holiday on the North coast. Thank you Sharon and Darren for a perfect stay.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Riverside Rest for 3 nights on our driving holiday to Brisbane. Sharon is a wonderful host. She is very friendly and was ready to assist when needed. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The personal touch during the delicious daily breakfast was lovely was something we enjoyed each morning.You can't leave without trying Darrin's Jams and Chutneys. They were amazing.The accommodation is within walking distance to cafes and restaurants and we enjoyed the scenic river walks during the evenings. Sharon and Darrin, thank you for the wonderful stay we had at the Riverside Rest. We'll definitely be staying again when driving up North.

We were looking for accommodation early evening and Sharon kindly made a room available for us. Sharon was very helpful and the room had everything you needed. We wished we could of stayed for the breakfast that everyone ravs about. Great spot and highly recommend. Thanks

This lovely B & B is extremely homely. I was greeted at the door by Sharon the owner and given my keys. The room I had was very comfortable , even the bed was comfortable which is very rare. Everything in the room was clean and well laid out. The bathroom was fantastic , lovely big shower head and very deep bath. The home made breakfast topped it off and is included in the price which is also very rare, the food was delicious and fresh. I will definetly stay here again . Thanks Sharon and hubby for a beautiful stay and it’s really a home away from home

Riverside Rest was a great spot to rest and recover after a long drive .Host Sharon creates a homely welcoming atmosphere and the breakfast provided was superb .Would highly recommend .

A beautiful stay at Riverside rest! Rooms were delightful, sparkling, comfy & modern. Hosts were friendly, kind and accomodating with a delicious breakfast of home made goodness!! Walking distance to beach, restaurants and beautiful walks! What more could you ask!! We will be back

Sharon is a warm and welcoming hostess. She is knowledgeable, informative, chatty and accommodating. Her attention to detail and cleanliness is marvellous, and with that said, it feels like a home away from home. The home made jam is to die for, and we bought a jar to take home with us! The views outside were stunning, both sitting on the deck and patio.We stayed in the smaller of the rooms, which was still roomy enough for us. Just means you need to be creative if you need the loo in the early morning, as the bathroom is 2 steps away from your bedroom door.Of course I can't forget beautiful little Millie. She is a lovely little pupperino of Sharon's and enjoys a cuddle or three. Well behaved and only allowed to visit if guests are comfortable.My partner and I can't wait to come back.
