Great customer service, friendly staff. Would highly recommend. Kept me informed that my car needed to be moved to an appropriate s.m.a.r.t workshop due to the amount of damage. Other workshop notified me as soon as the car arrived a d provided updated ETA.

Best place to have repair done if your insurer is part of the chain.....Large repair service centre.Clean nice and quick service by the lovely ladies at the counter. UBER provided if requested...They can get very busy sometimes, due to finding parts but will be worthwhile once completed .... lots of supplies change issue during covid and silly season can get overloaded....Must be patient

Extremely frustrating experiencing. Dropped car for repair and advised I would be away the following week so gave dates for when I could collect. Called two days before collection to confirmed details and was told all was in order. Called as I was almost at centre to collect and was advised my car had been taken to a completely different suburb and I had to call my insurance company because it no longer had anything to do with them. Completely unhelpful and dismissive. Now on hold to insurer trying to find my car.

Front of house very professional and efficient in arranging repairs. Fortunately parts were available locally, with turnaround of 12 days.Provided Uber transport to home after drop off and back for pick up.

My car went here for what should have been a simple repair (car was rear-ended). Their first attempt, left the new panel rounded with a half a centimetre gap between panels and a rounded and bulging wheel arch, which they assured me looked fine. Upon pointing it out, they agreed it was poorly done.When it went back to fix this (which they did an okay job at), they managed to take of paint in a number of spots. They had assured me the exhaust (located in centre of car and took brunt of impact) was also okay and had given me the keys, shown me to my car and said it was all sorted. When I asked for this in writing to say it had been assessed, they changed their tune and said it would need to be replaced. They only stated this (and then wrote it on the quote in texta) when I asked for written advice saying it’d been assessed. They clearly had no intent on resolving this.When the car went in for the 3rd time, they had repaired some of the paint, some of which looked great. However, they also had a huge excess of paint that now looks like a panel has a pipe cleaner covered in paint running along an edge. They also only fixed half the damage they’d caused the visit prior, and hadn’t fixed the same damage they’d done on the other site. What made it even worse, was somehow they’ve got excess paint on the driver’s side door, which almost looks like a thumb print. They offered me to bring it back for a fourth time to try my luck again.This place has zero quality control. Their ethics are non-existent and never have I seen such poor craftsmanship. I can honestly say you should avoid this place. If you have no choice (thanks AAMI!), be sure to take photos of your car before taking it there – as you will no doubt need it from the damage they create whilst fixing your vehicle. I had an uber drive tell me I was the 3rd person he’d taken there in 2 days, who’d had to have the repairs repaired. Also, be sure to get in writing what has been assessed and repaired. It wasn’t until I asked they put in writing that the exhaust had been assessed, but they actually acknowledged that it indeed needed to be replaced. If I hadn’t asked they definitely wouldn’t have volunteered this as they’d already given me the keys and said it was ready to go.Update; the car went to a different panel repairer - the rear panel fitted by Capital SMART had to be replaced due to it being damaged during the install. Total for work done, AFTER capital smart ‘repair’ was $7000. Have also added photos that show how the car had been ‘repaired’ by capital smart. Note the misaligned and rounded panel. No attention to detail or pride in their work whatsoever.

Great customer service personnel who were so polite and extremely helpful. Prompt and excellent repair to my car. Could not fault in any way. Highly recommend

A huge thank you to the team at this workshop. Our Honda CRV had a very tricky dent and damage across the tailgate. The repair they did is absolutely faultless, the bodywork is perfect. I am very impressed, coz I was convinced the team would have to replace the entire tailgate, but no! Thanks also to the front office staff who were always helpful and professional; I dealt with Claire and Gowrie who were superb. If you need your car fixed, you can't go wrong taking it to SMART CAPITAL BLACKBURN.

Sent my car for repainting for a damage of back door. When I collected it, found my passenger seat having a long strip of white sticky chemical material. My car did not seems to be respected well during the repair. I pointed it out to them to ask them clean it as It looks not easy to clean, a guy wearing a glass said like an expert hmm, it looks like it has been a while!! He was an expert to immediately tell lies.It is understandable that there is some dirty after the repair, but this guy just behaved too dodgy. Giving me the impression that the store is not a good place.If you plan to drop your car here, make sure you photo everywhere before you leave and check it when you collect it.
