Hope African braids

I have been going to Sophia’s for my hair dos together with my 2 girls for nearly 5 years now. I had been looking for a good African hair dresser for a longtime and when I met her, honestly she was God sent. I never have worry, does the hair very well, is very professional, very reasonable pricing, plus you can buy other African goods at her shop. If you you want a true African Saloon atmosphere visit her. She is obviously doing very well and growing, hence I now need to make an appointment a few days prior but it’s all worth it. Thank you so much Sophia.

I wish I could rate minus 5 stars, The lady I found there on 29th May 2023 had Terrible attitude, I can’t recommend any one.I was very disappointed to say the least.

Excellent service, thanks to this lovely lady Soph, who worked so tirelessly to get my daughter's hair done on time. She does a fabulous job and very neat job. I am very impressed with her work, thanks Soph.

Hi, amazing Salon I booked on short notice as the previous salon I went to said my hair was short but recommended Sophia and I was not disappointed I went in there and they were nice and friendly and very professional, showed them the braids I want to get and she did it perfectly definitely recommend.

I strongly recommend Hope African braids! I have been there 3 times already to get my hair done and I’ve had great experiences all the times. Her work is so neat and she is amazingly quick! Been going to sofia for a few years now, she is such a kind hearted lady, and her mum as well ! Beautiful people. She is very talented and accommodating and I always leave happy with my hair! Would recommend her salon to everybody ❤️

What an awful experience. Terrible customer service. Unbelievable! I called days prior to my appointment to book a date. Nothing was said about the cost. I had to ask and was given a price. Tried to negotiate and got no response. Next day (appointment day), I called and was told my appointment was cancelled. In her words there was no deposit paid" whereas she never mentioned anything about pricing or deposit. This was after agreeing on a time and date and me cancelling work to make time for this appointment. I had to go out of my way to keep in contact and send photos of the style I wanted bcos she was so dumb and blind to see nor understand. Very poor communication and terrible service. I will definitely make sure more people are aware of this awful place."
