Just finished a yoga retreat with my teacher and students from northern Sydney, and I was extremely happy with the place, our hosts Kylie and Jason, and the food they prepared for us. I’ve read the other reviews and agree with all the lovely positive comments; my experience was the same high quality. The yoga room is beautiful, with great light and air as well as aircon when we needed it in the hot afternoon. We even did some yoga in the garden. Kylie and Jason were very determined that we would have exactly the kind of retreat that we wanted, so we had a perfect environment for our yoga, from early morning to late evening. They made sure our food was fresh and skillfully prepared to give us balanced nutrition and meet our energy needs. They are friendly and easy to get along with, and very professional as hosts. The beds and bathrooms were luxurious for this kind of retreat facility, so we slept well and had no problems all getting showers in our tight retreat schedule. The walks mentioned in other reviews are nice and because I am interested in geology it’s worth saying that there is easy access to the old quarries up on the mountain behind the resort, famous for providing building stone used in Sydney, like for the GPO. I would love to do another retreat at Sage Manor.

Kylie and Jason are such lovely people it is no surprise they have set up this incredible experience full of good food, yoga, meditation and a few laughs along the way. The location within the trees is otherworldly and I can't speak highly enough of how it makes you feel to be in this peaceful place, the multiple comfy sofas also fantastic for some relaxation and reading. Thank you Kylie and Jason for setting this up and opening your hearts and home to others. There's no place like this. My cup is definitely full after the weekend. Thank you!

I've just experienced not only my first retreat but also my first ever actual yoga session with Kylie at Sage Manor in Bowral. I wanted to say thanks to Kylie and Jason for a great weekend. I certainly have a new appreciation for the strength and difficulty of Yoga and plan to better incorporate into the new me!Kylie and Jason are beautiful people who are so welcoming and so passionate about what they do that it's impossible not to become inspired. Sage Manor itself is gorgeous and well-looked after with comfortable reading and relaxing spots in different rooms, with comfortable chairs, throw rugs (perfect for winter) and great facilities.Kylie runs the yoga and workshop side of the retreats and she is patient and extremely knowledgeable about her practice and made me feel very included and welcome (despite never having done yoga before and jumping right into the deep end).Jason has a passion for food and clean eating and made delicious excellent quality food with a great variety for choice so we were never hungry. Jason's passion for eating well to nourish your body and good gut health is inspiring (and delicious) so much so I have even requested recipes that they are kind enough to share. They catered to all our desires and ensured we were all well looked after with plenty of options to do our own thing, and never pressured anyone into participating. I definitely plan to attend again in the future!Unfortunately, I used the weekend to (for the most part) detox from my phone so didn't really take any photos of the beautiful facilities or the food.

I could not have enjoyed my stay more! It was the most beautifully decorated and homely space. The house is so spacious with many different areas to chat, chill or gather. On a couple of cool Autumn rainy days the house was made to feel cozy with heating and a comforting fire place. By far the best thing was the home made food cooked by our lovely hosts Kylie and Jason. French onion dip like no other. The property dog, Harley, was a guest favourite too. Hotel quality beds ensured the best sleep and the towels smelt amazing. Can’t wait to return again.

I spent three days at this beautiful homestead on a recent Yoga retreat. The home itself is amazing with lots of little places to sit quietly and read a book or just relax. There are many bedrooms with various bedding configurations. The rooms were cosy and the beds we’re comfortable. There is also a separate cottage available. The kitchen has two dishwashers and pod coffee machines, so great for big families or groups. There is also a yoga studio. The gardens are beautiful and there is a large grassed area with more butterflies than I’ve ever seen. At night we enjoyed a fire pit. Just behind the property you can walk up to a lookout with beautiful views of the Southern Highlands. Our package included meals which were cooked by the owners, Jason & Kylie. Each meal was made with love and presented beautifully. There were 14 in our group and we were never left feeling hungry. The food was nutritious and tasty. We also had a wine tasting afternoon and the cheese platters they made were amazing. It is a short walk to the township of Bowral or you can drive to tourist attractions. We stayed there in February. The days were warm but it got quite chilly at night so bring some warm clothes. I would definitely recommend Sage Manor and I can’t wait to go back there.

My retreat at Sage Manor actually could not have been better. Beautiful, comfy and cosy furnishings. Peaceful location at the base of walking trails. And the owners are so passionate about fresh food, making fresh bread, their own butter, honey from a hive. And the most delicious fresh made gluten free bread. Thank you so much
