I needed some freshly ground pepper while staying in an apartment. They were sold out of pepper grinders. I asked if I could have a small amount of pepper from the kitchen. She said sure, and then tried to charge me SIX DOLLARS for some pepper. We were already spending $40 on other things, and they couldn't even throw in some pepper from the kitchen?

If I could give negative stars I would. The meals we selected were far from the flavoursome and delicious meals that’s were promised. The butter chicken and satay chicken were beyond watery and had zero flavour. And the meat used, well I have no words do describe the chewiness and gristle that was in there. The curry beef was thick and had good flavour but again ruined by cheap cuts of meat. We were so disappointed with everything we didn’t even attempt try the lasagna. The sides that also came were lacklustre, apart from the potato gratin that had around 1000 cloves of garlic in it. Was inedible as well.Even the desserts were sub par. The tiramisu was just runny cream and kinda coffee flavoured. And the chocolate pudding, no words. It was grainy and quite simply awful to eat.This was so disappointing considering what is promoted. And trying to support a local business as well as that what we should do in our community. However I am saddened to say I most definitely will not be purchasing anything again.

The deli is quite good, just the service is terrible. Shopping at here for many time, each time got the cold face didn’t make the day better.

Great experience. Was a little concerned initially as I was worried that there might be a inconsiderate skateboarder inside that might just knock me over. Luckily one of the helpful staff members Lucy weavy (might be a man tho, I'd look into it), helped me understand that there was no skateboarder. And also convinced me that outside of the stor had the best air to surround my heavenly body. Wasn't quite sure at the time but after getting back on my medication, I now know that he/she/them/both is a legend.

A great store that you can find things you would never find in any other stores.The staff are very nice and friendly.The prices are reasonably good, come and walk in and have your shopping done.

With a fine selection of quality goods and foods, from fresh fruits and vegetables, to home made affordable meals I have started shopping there once a week. It's great to see a business like this supporting such a variety of other local businesses.I love stopping into the Cafe for a coffee and lunch too. Always a great experience, with friendly staff that obviously enjoy their jobs. I highly recommend Alps & Amici.

The Beef Curry is one of my absolute favourites, so fresh and full of flavour.

What a great little store. Fresh baked bread made that day, super friendly staff! Plenty of street parking. Has all the essentials. Little small but that's no problem. Great location as there isn't much in the way of supermarkets/iga's around. Buy local it's worth it.

Purchased dehydrated meals from these guys for the overland track. We had them every night and I know there was food envy going on. The meals were very good. Great store with lots of variety.
