Local Grocer IGA Safety Bay

Nice store but abit pricey definitely wouldn’t do a big shop but good for small things

Came here just for bread and thought I would have a look around. Amazingly enough they had Oat Milk Cold Pressed Coffee which I have been looking for, for ages. No other local IGA, Woolworths or Coles has it. Will definitely be coming back often to get these. I recommend here if you want one of a kind or unique stuff that the generic stores don't sell.

Best little IGA I have been to in a long time. Shelves are always stocked and look neat and tidy, staff are super friendly and the managers Shane and Lynette go that little bit extra to make sure you have a good experience. Will definitely be back.

Good for a convenience store, poor for a supermarket. Fruit and veg look good. The hot chickens haven't been so good (sample size: 2). I buy their pet food frozen chicken mince fairly often.

I have just gotten home from shopping with my 10yo daighter at the IGA on the corner of penguin and safety bay roads, I was happily chatting to the staff as i always do when i go in, shopping for things I have gone without as a single mum for weeks because of non availability OR I just haven't had any money and I also have no car and all I did was grab a few different flavours of JUICE not realising that only 2 things from each group were able to be purchased (I only grabbed 1 of literally everything else I bought) and the juice was cheap so not thinking, I grabbed 4 different flavours out of habit, the lady who owns the iga then stopped and told me to put them back as if I had grabbed 6 of everything in the store, I then apologised and tried to explain I hadn't been able to shop in a while because I'm a single mum and hadn't been able to afford to get out and do any shopping until today so I was unaware of the 2 item minimum on everything and before I got to explain myself she remarked yeah well you should know how it feels then!". Now I work in retail

Today, Sunday April 3rdDisgusting quality salad items.Lettice, Brown in the middleCucumber, mushy on the insidetomatoes, terrible quality.( in a punnet)Why didn't we take them back?Live too far away.Will not shop there again.

Absolutely Love the employee’s here.Is it the training from the owner? I would love to know.
