Jordan is not only an awesome musician, but a fantastic teacher. He has been teaching my son guitar for the last 8 years and has not only improved his skills, but encouraged him to find his own musical style - so much so that he is now also forging ahead with his own career in music. He would not be the musician he is now without the guidance that Jordan has given him so I can't thank him enough.

Jordan is an excellent teacher for students of all ages and skill levels. I went to him as a mature-age, complete beginner with not a lot of confidence in my ability to learn an instrument or understand music. Jordan provided me with very clear instruction, a lot of patience and a great attitude. He has the ability to simplify complex concepts and ideas but in a way that lets you make noticeable progress. His studio is in a good location and easily accessible by car, bus and ferry. I'd recommend him to anyone, regardless of age or experience.

I came to Jordan after hitting a wall as an intermediate level guitarist. Jordan has helped me become a better fingerstyle player by patiently walking me through songs and introducing new musical concepts to me. He is a fine player in his own right, but he makes your time with him about you and your improvement. He has helped to improve my playing technique and also to improve my learning technique, showing me how break down songs into smaller parts and approach them methodically. He has also helped me to learn theory, particularly as it applies to guitar and the songs we are learning. Would certainly recommend lessons to people like me who are looking to take the next step as a guitar player.
