Beautiful restaurant with delicious food. The place itself is stunning both downstairs and upstairs rooms. The teas are always great quality, and the food is done really well, and very reasonably priced. The only feedback I have to make this even better, would be to add filling to the white chocolate coconut dumplings (dessert), as it just tastes like a ball of dough at the moment, and I would slightly fry the calamari a little less. The service was amazing, and the Asian waitress with the glasses was one of the best waitresses I have come across, super friendly, attentive, always positive and helpful. ✨

i have been here for 5 times in the past 2 years.. love the dimsum, at least in this area this is one of the best. the fried chicken ribs is good. some food can be improved. such as the chicken feet. nice food for easy lunch.

By far the most exceptional service and food I’ve had in a long time. The staff were so attentive, efficient and the food/drinks came out very quickly. Not only were the staff super organised, we loved how pleasant they were to deal with. The restaurant seemed to ve running like a well-oiled machine. Although it’s pricey, it’s 100% worth it. Highly recommend the sesame prawn toast & prawn wonton dumplings. We couldn’t fault a thing and I can’t wait to bring my mum back here !

I love Oriental Tea House here and at Little Collins. Consistently great value. Not the HIGHEST end, but a notch below and much more reasonable as a result. Great atmosphere and especially spacing enabling good conversation without worrying about noise. Some of the best dumplings in Melbourne, especially the chili wagyu beef and also the duck ones. Anything with chili is great.

We are visiting Melbourne and we had a craving for dim sum.So, we selected Oriental Teahouse, just going strictly by other people's recommendations.We opted for the tasting menu at $66 pp; a bit steep for dim sum, but we assumed it was really tasty.Actually, we were not disappointed. The food was timed perfectly and we always had something to eat.The flavors are lovely and the portions are ample. We were very pleased.Service is very friendly.

Really cool spot, great staff and a lovely ambience.We went for the 78$ sharing menu and the rest of our table went for the $55 sharing menu.The food was delightful and I'm very glad we went for the sharing menu. We got to try a variety of different dumplings, the steak was delicious and the octopus was very nice aswell.I was pleasantly surprised by the white chocolate dumplings. They were delicious.Would reccomend this menu if you're looking to try something different!

Love this place. Great menu and a few signature options that are unique and deserve a second look. The team is talented behind the bar as well. There are multiple levels and private function rooms, with a spirits list that is extensive and approachable

Had the tasting menu and overall it was pretty good. Like a lot of feed me experiences, some things where great & others I wouldn’t order again. Friendly staff, prompt service & while it was a bit pricey for the quality of the food that’s chapel st for you. Highlights where the Peking duck, prawn dumplings and the sizzling steak
