The best place I’ve been so far! Adam took care of me and my partner, the place is beautiful and peaceful. It was the best experience ever! I highly recommend!!

Had a great experience at Sobel Wines, the staff were friendly and attentive and took the time to go through the wine tasting list also answering the questions we had despite having other tables to serve. They were also very COVID-safe ensuring that we checked-in and even took our temperature before letting us in.

This is the best winery I’ve ever been to and I come back every single time I’m in the hunter! If you’re looking to feel like an absolute queen and enjoy your getaway definitely come here! Adam is AMAZING and the best host I’ve ever had! Thankyou Adam

Ruth was very friendly and knowledgeable, so glad we discovered this little gem. We enjoyed a tasting outside on the deck watching the kangaroos. Our dog was also made to feel very welcome!

Adam and Jack were amazing in assisting in all our drink selections with all our different tastes - dry and sweet. They were so much fun and knowledgeable and awesome wines too many to pick from. Thank you guys

This is our favorite Cellar Door in the Hunter, Adam made us feel so welcome, he is so friendly. The wines are nice, but the aged ports were delicious, we even returned to ask if they could print us some tickets to the Hope concert which was no issue for them either, a big thank you from myself and my wife

On a Hunter Valley holiday, my partner insisted on visiting Sobels, having been there years before, and ordered online since. I've NEVER been a wine drinker or tasted one that wasn't horrid to my unsophistocated taste. She tasted a couple, then coerced me into trying them with her. After a couple, I tried one that shocked me, and had me questioning my very belief system: it was nice! Then another. In short, my partner bought herself a few bottles, and I found myself buying some too: Sweet 'N' Luverly, and the Sticky. A totally relaxed, peaceful and very beautiful place. The two guys there - sorry, I'm terrible with names - were friendly & inviting, and patient with the 'til-then wine hater. Will be a must-do when next in the area.

Excellent value for money - very relaxed, many wines to taste and choose from! Especially great if you like sweet wines - Verdelho was a stand out sweet white! Thanks for having us!

Really nice wines and very affordable. Tahlia was a lot of fun, really nice, great tasting experience. Definitely recommend.
