Beautiful lookout, a bit of climb for the views

Castle rock and the view at the end is worth the hour+ walk, it really looks amazing, but the way there is pretty plain, nothing too exciting happening.

Nice little hike and lots of rocks for those who are adventurous enough to climb

I visited Castle Rock Beach with my friends on a sunny weekend and we had a blast. The beach is a small secluded spot on the Spit to Manly walk, only accessible by walking. It is a great place to escape the crowds and enjoy the natural beauty of Sydney Harbour.The beach is surrounded by rocky cliffs and has clear blue water. It is a sheltered swimming spot, perfect for snorkelling, kayaking and paddle boarding. We saw some colourful fish and coral while snorkelling, and even spotted a seal on the rocks. The beach also has some shaded areas under the trees, where we had a picnic and relaxed.The walk to the beach is not too hard, but it does have some steep sections and stairs. It took us about an hour from the Spit Bridge, following the well-marked track along the coast. The views along the way were stunning, especially of Middle Harbour and Grotto Point Lighthouse. We also passed some Aboriginal rock engravings and historic gun emplacements.We had a wonderful time at Castle Rock Beach and we would definitely go back again. It is a hidden gem in Sydney that offers a peaceful and scenic getaway from the city.

Lovely views easy walk

Easy walk in but a little more difficult to climb up the rocks.We rode our mountain bikes in, the track was wide and easy.Don't forget water, you will need it.A beautiful spot with unique landforms and interesting flora and fauna. Keep an eye out for carnivorous plants.

Good easy walk

Stunning walk! Most of the walk is through forest and is largely flat. The end is the breathtakingly beautiful rocks that look out over the landscape. The views are incredible.
