I was very anxious to leave my dog for his surgery as he has lots of issues, but the team at Kantenna left me feeling very assured and confident he was in the right hands.He's had surgery before and it went horribly, this time the difference was like night and day. They did a wonderful job and I was very impressed with them all around.I highly recommend them, Thank you Kantenna vet ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This used to be a great veterinary practice and I've used them for 20 years. Since expanding the premises and changing to a more business-oriented approach, the service has declined significantly. They only suggest the most protracted and expensive treatments for our animals when the simple fix will, in the main, suffice. They have significantly increased charges, sometimes without notice, and their knowledge and connection with customers has been replaced with the collection of $$$. They no longer know your name or that of your animals. I won't be using them again and would suggest that there are better services in the area that won't look for every opportunity to charge you and will at least remember your name!

Easy to get appointment friendly helpful staff. Very thorough vets. Happy to recommend.

Sadly I need to leave a negative review as after multiple attempts to get an answer, I still haven’t heard back from them. It took a week to even get a reply at all.My chihuahua had AI done at Kantenna & everything was fine until there was an emergency. I called and spoke to the lady on call at 8.11pm, she helped me with an umbilical cord issue which I was so grateful for. 5 stars there. She said to “call as often as needed” which was a relief. It wasn’t a surprise that the second pup was coming soon.I was told by Kantenna one week later that the reason she didn’t answer my calls & texts was because she was ’fast asleep’ by 9.34pm when I’d called the second time. I thought this quite odd especially after she was wide awake (sounding like she was out with a lot of people around) only 1hr 20mins before. I wish I could fall sleep that quickly.At 9.34pm, the sac had come out but went back in so I was worried & made the call. I kept trying to call but after 15 calls & texts went unanswered, I had to search for another vet. Carrara Emergency 24hr Vet were absolutely fantastic. They did an X-ray showing measurements that the pup was too big for natural birth. Kantenna didn’t advise this even though you can clearly see this in their X-ray. If I’d been told, this all could have been avoided.I thought a family emergency or perhaps even something as simple as dropping the phone in the toilet could be the reason my calls went unanswered. If someone is fast asleep and won’t hear the phone, they shouldn’t be relied upon for emergency calls. I’m not trying to be difficult but this was such a stressful situation we were in and I want to understand what happened as this was highly unprofessional.My husband called twice too and strangely, she tried calling his ‘missed call’ number 2 hours later but failed to notice & call me back after my 15 calls & texts. I still have no answer to this.I pray that this doesn’t happen again and someone loses a precious pet as we were so close to. I’m just so disheartened by this as it was the first & only time I wanted my dog to have puppies to add to our family. Please have a back up emergency plan if you rely on Kantenna.I’d been told “I’d need mandatory tests on the due date (3 days after the last tests) or they can’t help in an emergency” which is totally fine if I was given help.This is the one question they couldn’t answer: “Is there any particular reason why she ignored my 15 odd calls & messages but chose to ring my husband’s 2 missed calls over 2 hours later?“.If I saw that many missed calls when I woke up, I would call back… or even call the next day, or the day after that, or the day after that etc to apologise, but I heard absolutely nothing. Unfortunately I can’t recommend Kantenna & I won’t be going back there again.

Sadly this morning we had to say goodbye to our dog Pippa who was 15. The service of the vet, Racheal and the other staff was second to none. We were given all the time we needed, supported in our decision and never rushed. We also were able to say our last goodbye out on the grass, in the sun but a stream. The vet surgery will also will help us with cremation and are taking care of everything so we don't have to worry. Such great people.

They are great with your pup's and very well priced. Highly recommended

This place is very good. They looked after our 'Border Collie Cross' (female) extremely well. Put short, they saved our pet's life. Also, they communicate on a high level and are well organized.

Dr Alex was amazing with my old girl, a very sensitive old lady staffy, who had a rather bad bleed in her tummy. He was gentle and caring, she had to have surgery basically as soon as we got their. I will be going to this vet from now on, couldn't have asked for better treatment, thank you

Highly recommend this place, I've always had an amazing experience with these guys, they are wonderful and they have always taken care of my dogs the same way I would I use them for all my pets and there prices are very reasonable thanks so much again guys for taking such good care of my babies
