Such professional service, could not recommend them enough!

Writing on behalf of a friend.Wont recommend as an employer.Last year during October there were AN-ACC changes for aged-care which affected many providers, including AHP.My friend was impacted and let go. The issue is not he was let go, but how AHP management handled it.AN-ACC changes were coming was informed many months ago, the company did not plan properly and had to make many people redundant during November. Due to which my friend had hard time finding work & got work after 2 months due to holiday season.Worse was they chose to lay-off newly inducted employees and did not have to pay redundancy pay, which affected all impacted employees.

Michelle Ma at AHP is a very professional speech pathologist. She truely cares about her patients. Due to the change of service provider reason, Michelle could only assess my mother once. But Michelle remembers my mother and when she started introducing eye gaze to her other clients, she thought of my mother and she cares enough to call me and suggested that to me! If it wasn’t because of Michelle’s kindness I’d still be having great difficulties communicating with my mother! Now my mother is using the eye gaze communicating with us happily!

Very disappointing experience with AHP. They gave me a job and i subsequently quit my other workplace. I did all the online training and went through my NDIS check. I had my start date and a few days before they said a situation had arisen and that i would not be able to start for another 2 weeks. This was tough because i was needing to continue to earn money, but i accepted it.Then 6 days before i was due to start again, they contacted me and said the position was not available due to them needing to give it to another practitioner who had just relocated. I was amazed that a so-called professional agency could act this way. Would not recommend this company at all
