I needed a desk pad. Larger than standard. Jeffery was kind enough to make a leather desk pad to my specs. Outstanding. Now others in the office are asking for the same thing. I tested it this afternoon. Didn’t realise the difference the soft pad made when using a stamp fantastic. Recommend a desk pad made by Jeffrey. I hope I spelt his name right.

Just needed a belt buckle. They had exactly what I needed and at a great price. Even though they are in the city, parking was very easy in this particular area.

Great customer service - went in with a pretty vague idea of what I was after and was expertly pointed in the right direction. Very happy and will be back for any other leather needs!

I didn’t know what to expect when I first walked into Adelaide Leather and Saddlery. Not only was it this amazing mecca for all things leather making, but being a complete novice and wanting to learn the craft, I also received nothing but support and nurturing from the staff, both Jeff and Caroline about my newfound passion. Their love for the craft is second to none, and their desire to help others is unwavering. I have now been back multiple times, and would recommend this place to anyone, both beginner and professional.

Hoping for some leather to repair some worn out barstools.As soon as I saw the store I felt like a kid in a candy store with all of these fixings and tools and beautiful pieces of leather.. I’m not an upholsterer.. I’m barely a seamstress.. but I was hoping I’d some how manage to recover my old barstools into something that looked chic but also something that would last.The lovely staff who served me were interested in my project and asked me a few questions about the construction and how I intended on sewing the leather together.. I explained that I have an old industrial sewing machine I’ve never used, and hoped this would be the pony that would ride to sew my new stool covers.After asking a few more questions, it was very clear to me that I was in over my head. I’d decided on a beautiful piece of leather but had no idea which sized needle to use, let alone the type of thread.. this wasn’t like any of the sewing projects I’d done before with fabric. I started to worry that I might ruin this beautiful piece of leather with my own inexperienced workmanship.Problem is, I had a party the following weekend and wanted these stools recovered before then.. what the hell was I going to do? Do I invest in the leather and hope for the best, or give up my crazy idea and one day in the future, contact an upholsterer?.. I was in a quandary.. all I knew was that I really loved this gorgeous piece of leather.. it was EXACTLY what I’d been looking for and wanted to enjoy it for many years to come!Then the idea struck me!! I could ask the lovely staff, Caroline and Jeff, who were helping me, if they’d consider sewing my stool covers!!!.. I honestly expected to be told that they couldn’t do it or they we’re too busy... but Jeff (the champion) said yes!Jeff stressed that he wasn’t an upholsterer but if I really needed the job done, they’d do it.. I agreed that I’d cut the leather out. For me, cutting was the easy part! I’d made a mock up cover from fabric, so just had to be really careful to measure and cut each piece out precisely. We discussed a few more details, to make sure I would cut the pieces just as they needed.So there it was, I was getting my stool covers sewn properly by Jeff, a person who knows how to work with leather, and has been a saddler for over 40 years!.. I drove home, so excited, and cut the most precise pieces of anything I’ve ever cut before!I returned to the shop the next morning with my beautifully cut pieces.. and from there, they took them, and in an unbelievable turnaround time, Caroline called me to say they were ready!The price was very reasonable. The workmanship was excellent!! Jeff and Caroline gave me exactly what I wanted, but couldn’t do for myself.Thank you to Jeff and Caroline for making one of my birthday dreams come true. I now have the MOST chic and gorgeous bar stools and thank you both a gazillion for making it happen!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ FIVE! GOLD! STARS!

I couldn't find what I wanted anywhere in stores around town and they offered to make up a brand new belt to my specs on the spot. They had it ready in under 2 hours! Fantastic service, will highly recommend to everyone in the future!

I recently had the absolute pleasure of visiting the leather shop in Adelaide, where I had the pleasure of meeting Caroline and Jeffrey. These two absolute legends went above and beyond to help me design a belt to match my newly purchased boots, by only a picture from my phone. They took the time to understand exactly what I was after - even if I didn’t know. The final bespoke product is a real beauty, with unparalleled craftsmanship. The belt fits like a dream and perfectly complements my new workies in style, color and texture - everywhere else had nothing even close. I highly recommend this shop for anyone in the market for top-notch leather goods and a truly unique shopping experience.
