Gunnerson Labradors are professional and ethical breeders who genuinely care about their dogs. We picked up Archie (pictured) as a 5 month old puppy and he settled into our home almost immediately. After fostering Seeing Eye Dog puppies for a number of years, we would highly recommend taking home a slightly older puppy, as you don't need to 'push through' as much of the puppy teething and antics, and toilet training is much easier. I have had such a positive experience with Gunnerson. I purchased a beautiful yellow female Labrador puppy. Julia is on hand to offer advice on all matters relating to the pup. Gunnerson also provided a detailed manual, outlining best practice for Labrador dogs. I also chose to adopt the natural food diet, which l would highly recommend.

I cannot rate Gunnerson Labradors highly enough and you should not look past them if you are looking to add a Labrador to your family. Julia has been amazing to deal with from the initial enquiry, to picking up our beautiful 10 month old Benji this past weekend. She has been very generous with sharing her knowledge and is a very honest and ethical breeder who puts her dogs first. It is obvious that that all dogs are very well cared for and are bought up on plenty of land with exceptional facilities. Apart from Benji being a very handsome boy, he has the most beautiful temperament and settled in so well which is a credit to Gunnerson.

Jessie is 10 yrs old now and what a joy. We have had so much fun and many laughs with this gorgeous part of our family. Julia breeds such beautiful puppies but not just for the aesthetics for temperament.The only children she had ever met is our grandchildren who only come to visit 4 times a year. From the second she saw them she fell in love and is their protector, spending every minute with them. Even sleeps across their doorway of a night, just incase!We’ve had 3 dogs before Jessie and even though we have loved them dearly, Jessie is just special. The others were taken to dog obedience, but this girl literally trained herself, truly, this dog is part human.My brother is jealous, while running and yelling at his dog who takes off across the paddock, Jessie is always within 15 ft, and will never leave me. I have even locked her outside the front door, poor girl sat on the door step for 1 1/2 hrs silently waiting! Lol.Just an angel.

We got our beautiful chocolate boy Alfie from Gunnerson Labradors almost two years ago and he has been the most wonderful addition to our family. We can’t thank Julia enough for letting us be a part of the Gunnerson family! He is the most amazing dog! He’s cheeky, boisterous, hilariously funny, loyal and loving. My little Zoe is only 15 weeks old but is so calm and obedient already. I have decided to continue with the recommended natural diet and my puppy is thriving and healthy.
