Great spot to stop for lunch with the kids as we travelled. The kids had a great time at the skatepark. The park was well looked after. Thank you Ayr for a great spot to stop.

Lovely shady playground with a good breeze. Lots of different play equipment to suit a large age range and paths to help keep parents' shoes sand free.Reasonably clean toilets, BBQ and picnic tables.

Excellent stop for lunch. Great fenced playground if you have kids and had disability access etc. Nice soft green grassed areas and plenty of shade. BBQ's and tables if you want.

We found a nice shady spot for lunch from the local bakery here, and were joined by some friendly birds.However, what we discovered in the bathroom puts me off from visiting again; there was a sink full of used needles and their discarded wrapping.Imagine if a child had gone into those bathrooms unsupervised. I rang the council but got no response nor reply. I would hesitate to visit again and encourage any caregivers visiting to accompany children if they're needing to use the bathrooms.
