lovely little coastal pub on the hill. stopped in for lunch & a couple of beverages. Beach & SLSC just a short drive down the rd.

Stopped in a couple of times over the weekend with my mum and her friends for her 60th birthday. Super friendly and fun staff ready for a chat and a laugh, great service and delicious food. Servings are large and cooked perfectly. If ever in the area, I would recommend stopping in for a great pub grub and a few drinks and a yarn.

Not only was this my first time being here, it definitely won’t be the last. The burgers were as fresh as burgers should be. The Chicken Deluxe burger was amazing, all the flavours they had combined together made it the best experience. The Fish burger had fresh fish and that’s rare nowadays, it was lightly battered and fluffy inside and the homemade sauce it came with just topped it all off. The environment is peaceful and just a walk up the road from Catho Beach meaning you can stop by for lunch or dinner on your way back from having a nice swim.

Quaint Aussie pub, lots of history and photos around the walls. Interesting fact first indigenous publicans to be granted a liquor licence in the 1970s. Only had a beer can't comment on the lunch

We appreciate the kitchen is busy but there's no harm in being polite, after enquiring about waiting on food. There was three of us who received our order in time and one of us had been advised that it will take 50 minutes! Money was returned and food was shared amongst us all. What a joke!

Perfect place to freshen up after a long motorbike ride with ya mates.Ordered a Tasty Fat chicken snitty, has friendly bartenders.But... where you go to order your food, they seem a bit grumpy.But hey I would be too if I had to work on a weekend when it's sunny!Also, plenty of parking for cars and motorbikes!

Great old pub. Staff are friendly. Live music on the weekend is a nice touch. Plentiful seating outdoors and a good area for children to run around and in.The food is proper pub grub. It’s not outstanding food but it’s a decent feed and reasonably priced (28 for a dozen oysters and 60 for a seafood platter for 2) so no complaints here. It’s a pub they way a country pub should be
