Rustica Sourdough
Tried Rustica for the first time today. Enjoyed the Lobster and Prawn Benedict myself. The food was good and came out quickly. The place was packed and super full so if you’re thinking of going, make sure to get there earlier. Lots of seating area inside and a few seats outside on the side street side.

Great food, fine service for a large busy cafe. There was a line for tables which shows how popular this place is. Enjoyed the coconut chia pudding and the lobster and prawn benedict with a glass of prosecco, coffees and juices. Would go back again for brunch.

Came in for a small lunch, and ordered a mocha and matcha latte + poached eggs on sourdough. Drinks were aesthetic, delicious and delivered within a couple minutes. The poached eggs and sourdough, on the other hand, took 55 MINUTES to arrive. I had to ask the staff twice, to remind them about the order - which I think they forgot. Something went wrong, which was quite frustrating. The atmosphere is nice and vibrant, but service is very slow. Last time I visited, we ordered two coffees, which took half an hour to arrive at our tables. Only come here if you have plenty of time to spare.

Good breakfast vibrations on the menu at Rustica Sourdough. It’s a large venue but it started to fill up quickly when I called in for Sunday breakfast. I had cappuccino, muesli and toast. Not all toast is created equal, it seems. Rustica’s cuts the mustard!

Really good food, but a point off for price - you're looking at around $30+ for brunch per person without any drinks.We had the granola as well as the lobster and prawn benedict (if you're already paying $$$, what's a few extra bucks?). The granola was beautifully presented. The prawn and lobster were tender, but the fish eggs made the dish a touch saltier than I would have liked. The bun that came with it was soft and the dish seemed to be inspired by a New England lobster roll.

Ordered the pulled pork Bennidict: presentation was good abdbportion size was a little smaller than expect for a circa $30 dish. Coffee was great.Overall I would return however, the payment methods have to be improved, as there was a long wait to pay for the bill ( this should be the quickest part). Lastly, the bathrooms need attention..loose taps and overall cleanliness was not up to scratch.

Spent around $100 for 2 ppl with cocktails. Amazing food! We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back for more :)

We are regulars at their Melbourne Central branch, but we wanted to try their South Yarra location this time. We had to wait for around 15 min till a table became available.They have a different menu, so we ordered the following:- Chilli Scrambled Eggs (Spring onion, coriander, manchego cheese, bacon, pickled chilli + pumpkin toast).- Avocado On Toast (Chard corn, herb salad, Mexican furikake, lime labneh, grilled halloumi + seedy sourdough).Both dishes were just as we expected, if not better than what we had at their MC branch!Rustica never disappoints me when it comes to breakfast options. Excellent service, with great food & coffee.
