Australia Post - Panania Post Shop

One of the worst Aust Post shops I’ve been to. Staff are condescending and treat you like you’re a child. Show some respect to your customers.

Staff very helpful and not much to wait during the week.

The staff at Panania Post Shop went above and beyond to help me today. I had stupidly misread an email, and accidentally redirected my large order of homewares and furniture to the post shop instead of directly to my home. I had nobody to help me pick it up until Friday, and I needed the items today. I went inside and spoke to Lorraine about my situation. She was very kind and helpful, and told me to drive around to the staff car park so I could get my packages straight to my car instead of having to carry up the street to where I initially parked. I took my car to the car park, and was met with another employee. I didn't get her name unfortunately. She was very friendly and sympathetic to my situation. I loaded the boxes into my car, but two of the boxes didn't fit. I opened them and put the contents into my car. This staff member then told me to leave the empty boxes and packaging, as she would dispose of them for me. I couldn't believe how helpful and accommodating those two staff members were, especially because the whole situation was my fault to begin with! I am forever grateful, thank you so much!

Easily the worst post office i have every experienced. The rudest and most arrogant people are working their and do not have single clue what is going on. 3/3 of the customer that came in while i was waiting for a simple request (which they still couldn't manage somehow) the bloke behind the counter didn't even change his tone, just told them you can contact this number and file a complaint.Ff you want to save yourself a hassle and get something done right. i highly recommend at all cost avoiding Panania Post Office. Even a parcel locker is more helpful than these toolbags.

The staff are always friendly here. Lorraine was super helpful and went above and beyond to help with my inquiry.

Usually one of the worst and rudest staff of all times. But today I was served by a new staff member when I was sending a return post. I was so pleased to see a fresh face that is not arrogant or grumpy and actually friendly. Therefore I am raising this rating to 3 stars for now. Very pleased to see a new friendly face.

Most helpful Post Office staff I've ever had to deal with. They know all the posting options available, you just have to ask. They're thorough with ID checking for parcels and letters, which I appreciate. I feel confident that my items will not be released to anyone else. I've witnessed people trying to pick up items without correct legal ID needed in Australia and then getting frustrated with the staff because it's actually the customer's error and not that of the staff. Many customers also let their kids pick up and damage/use items in the PO store and then think it's OK to put them back on the shelf without paying for them. Too many indulgent parents. The staff at Panania are incredibly professional, especially with rude customers. They also work their guts out during the high peak seasons, especially December. Well done to everyone at Panania PO. Ive been a local customer for over 40 years, even when the PO was in Tower Street (where the mower shop is now).

Lack of customer service and rude staff. Only went to collect parcel from here. The lady at the courier started with an irritating tone like I interrupted her evening break or something at 3:45pm ish. Also questioned on the name I used for parcel and asked 'What does it suppose to mean'... I never get question like that when I do click and collect at Myer or other shop, using same name. Don't think making comment on people's name is appropriate.Avoid going to this Post Office.

Ok, their phone choices are limited, they do have some handy gadgets though. I've not experienced rude staff. And I do like the fact they will call me back and I don't have to stay on hold the whole time.
