This place is awesome. It's a nice walk from the town to get here, through some woodlands and along a sandy track. The sandblow itself is like nothing I've seen before. Really incredible to experience the vastness. Highly recommend stopping here for a while to enjoy and take in the surroundings.

Absolutely amazing, we were alone there and the place is just pure nature, the sand and the ocean mixing…there are no words to describe it…just go there!!

We had an awesome time. The kids loved flying down the sand dunes on their boogie boards and the views are amazing. I would recommend bringing swimming goggles to protect the kids eyes if going down the dunes. Lots of sand flying everywhere.

Short walk and about 30 stairs to the top end of the sand dune. It’s huge, be careful at ocean end as it has unfenced cliffs down to the beach, so if you have small kids please watch them. No toilets, bbq or tables, a bench seat at the beginning at the car park and at the end of the track. There are other close by amenities in Rainbow Beach. Spectacular landscape.

Definitely recommend to visit. The view is surreal with the overview of the ocean, trees and the city all at the same location.

This a great place to view sunrise or sunset. The view is stunning. It's also the start of the great walk. The carpark is not very big so get here early if you want a spot during the popular times. Kids will enjoy sliding down the dune on boogie board. Walking back up the sand is a good workout

Amazing. Love this location at sunset, and it can get quite busy here with people coming to have a drink and watch the sun set! Fun to boogie board down the sand dunes and wander around, see the water and beach below. It's a short walk from the carpark through the bush (300ish metres or so, maybe?) with some stairs along the way. Love this spot!

Absolutely magical experience we went for sunset which I just would highly recommend I have never seen views like it. From where you park your car, you do have to walk up quite lot of stairs and not so flat surfaces as someone with mobility issues I did struggle at times only due to the length of time it takes. An Australian 5 minutes is more like 10 to 15 minutes. The stairs are not steep but as I have chronic nerve pain so walking can be difficult at times i did find all the uneven surfaces and walking up a hill difficult. The views were worth it though. On our return we had to walk in the dark luckily we all had phones so we used the torches so be mindful of that when you go to see the sunset. But if you go to Rainbow beach this is a must!
