Happs Pottery

Absolutely amazing experience with Myles and the team.Pottery workshop was a great time, and the pieces turned out well (and were shipped back to Perth with no damage!)

My partner and I chose to do a pottery class together to try something different to the usual touristy activities while we were on holiday down south. The experience was well priced and we were looking forward to trying our hand at a new skill. We were not disappointed. I believe Harry taught us in an intimate two person pottery class which allowed us to basically have free reign with as many clay pieces as we pleased (time permitting). Though we did not get further than trying to make a bowl, we both loved our experience at Happs. If only we could do more pottery classes like this! We will definitely be back to try our hand at making the vase.We opted for our bowls to be finished by the Happs team and posted to us. We were told this process would take roughly 6 weeks but they were delivered so much quicker than that timeframe. We love the finish on each of our bowls. Well worth the money spent.Before we left Happs we also purchased two mugs that were also handmade by the Happs pottery team and we are obsessed. They are now our favourite mugs in the cupboard as the thick wall of the mug keeps your tea or coffee warm for an extended amount of time compared with your regular, cheap & nasty mug.10/10 could not recommend trying this place more!

A small pottery business doing absolutely beautiful pottery well worth a look. Also if you are lucky enough to be able to have a look at where they do there work it is fascinating to see. The owners are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Go for a visit and buy something.

Wonderful experience!!! A must go to place when in Dunsborough. Harry, our workshop instructor was really nice and patient! The artwork and talent hidden in this place is immense!!

Fantastic customer service, was always there to assist and answer any questions. The shop is full of beautiful unique pottery. Definitely worth a visit.

Leaving a review for the Studio Pottery experience. I did the session with my gf and there were three others as a group.To kick off we were given a brief tour of the workshop to understand the pottery process.After that we were straight into the pottery wheels, getting dirty and making our own pieces! The instructor guided us on how to use the wheel and how to position your arms and hands to create our desired shapes. He was extremely helpful and the whole mood of the experience was educational but also great fun.I got to make three small pieces all up! For each item you have an option to pay to have them fully processed with a set choice of glazes and shipped to you at home about six weeks later.It was so much fun and hope to come back and do it again.

We had a very fun experience doing a pottery class. The instructor was fine, and we all made something we could be proud of.However, price is a big issue here. The pottery experience is expensive. Then to have your pieces baked costs a fair bit on top.I didn't mind paying for it though because it was a unique experience and we would get unique pottery pieces to keep.HOWEVER, nobody told us that pottery shrinks quite significantly when baked - I'm talking roughly half the size of the original piece - so when we picked up our pottery about 7 weeks later I was really disappointed that our pottery pieces were too small to actually use. They look nice, and they can technically function, but if you want to make a usable mug or a bowl you had better make it much bigger than you think you'll need.I would recommend the pottery experience because it is fun and not something you can do every day, but I would not recommend taking the pieces home. Simply not worth the money

We had the best experience ever at happs pottery!! The teacher is awesome and always let us try our very best before helping us.My son had a blast ! And they can also ship ur works after weeks.Highly recommend to family who want to have a fun time and be an one day artist!!!
