Takeaway burrito was 19 dollars so I expected something decent. Plain flavours, mostly rice and beans, bread barely warmed through. I threw the last third in the bin because it was so bland. 4 stars for service and atmosphere because I had takeaway and for all I know they could be great.

Ordered dairy-free for my allergic partner on our last two visits and both times received tacos with cheese and/or sour cream. On the most recent we had to send the meal back twice before they got it right. Copped a bit of attitude when we complained at the end too.Shame as this place used to be great, but prices have gone up and quality has gone down. Food isn't what it used to be, and staff seem pretty clueless.An extra star for having Tecate on the menu.

At first we had a struggle to find the place because it’s hidden, but after we found it the food was delicious, we had beef burrito, two tacos and potatoes with chipotle sauce. There are many gluten free options. Each taco is pretty small (but it’s only 7$), the burrito was in a good size.

For allegedly having “a deep knowledge and appreciation for Mexican cuisine,” the food sorely disappoints. I had a bland burrito, and what I can only assume were Costco tortilla chips with guacamole (granted Costco guacamole is quite good!). The salsa tasted like barbecue sauce. The only good thing I can say are that the burritos are large. Blake and Emma Read need to return to “the US of A” and do some more research.

It's actually pretty hard to mess up Mexican food this badly. The guacamole tastes like the home brand avocado dips you buy at the supermarkets. The burrito bowls is stale fries, undercooked chicken with some strange sweet paste, covered with some sweet onion jam (What?) and flavourless soft jalapeno slices out of a tin.There is almost no service, you need to order on your phone with a ridiculous surcharge and if you do find somebody at the counter you find out they don't accept cash?!The only good thing about the place is large dining area, inside and outdoors to.

Taco Tuesday is well worth a visit. It’s back from the street and feels cozy. It’s a shame they sent the wrong food. Did not realise until after that I had eaten fish & was about to eat halloumi - both of which I’m allergic.Edit: I reached out last week as per the review reply but I’ve had no response.Edit: 2 months later - no response.

Good tacos when it’s taco Tuesday.Update 18.4.23 have come again and food is still great just an observation…. it is sad when restaurants use their toilets as an storage rooms. Especially disabled or handicapped and you have to go to the bathroom next to a dusty fan, random fence and when you go to flush half the button is missing. Would have gone to to the single toilet but the light was busted and not working.

Both the flavours and service were incredible. Haven’t felt so welcomed in a restaurant before! The Birria tacos were mouth watering!

Taco Tuesdays! Omg so good. The variety was great. Really yummy tacos. And great value for money. It's usually $6 but on tuesday its $3. And it's good size and fresh ingredients. I really loved it. I highly recommend this place!!!!As a coogee local, it's one of my fav top places.
