I was unsure of what to eat and found this little gem in Avalon and the service from thisVietnamese restaurant made mefeel like it's a 5star restaurant,the most tastiest food in Newport. The flavours was out of this world and the freshness of the produce was amazing.Will definitely stop in again.

Our experience was not consistent with other reviews. This place is seriously overrated.Tasteless, oily and unseasoned dishes, all except the beef noodle soup, needed serious doses of salt and pepper to resemble anything palatable. Even salt and pepper was hard to find.Our table would have benefited from a wipe down too.

Ordered the fried rice. No flavour at all. Tasted link boiled rice. There were a good amount of prawns but just average taste from them. Was passing through and got hungry. Also got the spring rolls which were good. But it's hard to mess up spring rolls.

Best chicken pho I’ve ever had in Australia. Seriously. Perfect flavoursome broth. Fresh noodles. Crispy fresh sprouts and mint. Heavenly. Spice on the side for taste.

It's hard to agree with some of the reviews and the food is very underwhelming.Entree chicken skewers were overly oily, under-seasoned, and drizzled with presumably satay sauce, but couldn't taste it.Main dish salt and pepper calamari was tough, rubbery, yet soggy.Drinks and beverage menu was never offered, and wait staff were not available to ask.Overall, not a great meal.

Extremely slow service without reason. Venue was dingy.Our duck pancake was crispy, but too thick with mountains of raw beansprout & onion and very small & barely noticeable serving of duck(but looked like chicken). Sauce was too watered down and insufficient to add flavour to the overall dish. Was a poor dish and will not be reordering.Perhaps there is a discrepancy in service given to locals vs visitors, or maybe their ratings reflect the lack of Vietnamese dining options in northern beaches, but I wouldn't recommend this place and won't be returning. There are better Vietnamese dining almost everywhere in Sydney.

Terrible service and equally atrocious food. Ordered two takeaway pork rolls and waited 30 minutes and they incorrectly made chicken rolls so waited a further 15 minutes. They cut the bread roll in half so there was no hinge so all the ingredients fell out, also comes in a not very practical box. Staff were not apologetic, we saw two people dine in and finish their meals before we received our food. Definitely will not be returning. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you have time to waste.
