I needed a small portable gas cooker for the next power outage. Staff were a big help, got just what I needed and less than 50 bucks including 4 small gas cans. Thanks!

We recentky moved to the island permanently. Can't speak highly enough about the staff in the trade/ timber department. Nothing is too much trouble and they are so helpful and always go above and beyond. Well done guys and I'm sure management are proud of you all.

Hate going in this store with the exception of 2 male staff members the rest are always so rude and unhelpful bought a 2.5 mt dowel dropped it at the register it snapped it in 2 and the unpleasant female staff member just looked at me and said nothing I can do! It was my fault cause I dropped it then proceeded to scream at me when I said it is a piece of wood not glass and that really isn’t supposed to break like it did in the end the argument got that intense that a crowd started to gather and the big boss had to come and break it up he was more than happy to replace it for me she is one of the most horrid rude unprofessional things and yes I mean thing that I have ever had the misfortune to deal with never going in there again EVER I would rather drive 40 minutes to Wonthaggi for what I need than go in there again

Staff are helpful. Good selection of stock. Trade area is great. Coffee machine is a good addition - shame about the coffee. Hehe.The Mitre 10 card is definitely worth getting as the points WORK! How many loyalty cards can you say that about?!Other than that, it's a Mitre 10 so stop asking me to review it Google Maps!

Very rude staff, called about 5 times, each time was disconnected.When a female staff finally answered, she said ’yes, ’ then immediately ended the call.Called yet again and asked for a product, but she refused to check its availability as ’the store was [apparently] too busy for her to check.’Will not be supporting this place.What is the point of the store maintaining a working phone line if the staff are too lazy to even respond to phone calls?Seems like a waste of the owner’s money to me.

Always impossible to find anyone to ask a question in store and always feels like their doing me a favour to take my money. Bring a blanket if in their during winter. Staff in the wood yard always good but would prefer Bowens for better quality building materials.

Worst customer service I’ve ever had, stopped what he was doing behind the desk for me half way through to go do something for another customer.
