Bushchooks Travellers Village
Comfy bed, hot shower, creature comforts such as TV, air-con and private ensuite, all at a convenient stopover point on the highway for a very reasonable price. Only problem is thin walls so you can hear everything. But overall, great value! Plus free continental breakfast from camp kitchen!

We've stayed here several times and this place never disappoints! Always greeted by a cheery Chris, so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spotless, comfy beds. We've travelled around the block and can say without a doubt the Chooks has the BEST camp kitchen in Australia. We'll definitely be back!

Stayed in one of the self contained cabins which had everything handy including a two plate cooktop. Found the cabin clean and tidy. For those staying more than a night or two as I did, having a full sized fridge would have been nice and better lighting coverage over the table as I had paperwork to do.Although the village is situated next to the Bruce Highway, I found the cabin I was in pleasantly quiet. Would stay again.

Bushchooks Travellers Village
This is now our permanent stop from and to Brisbane. We take our friends there and recommend the place to anyone we know. Great camp kitchen and free breakfast. Coffee van and hot cakes, meat pies and whatever next door. Pub with heat meals and atmosphere only walking distance. Just the perfect place to stop over night.

Kris is a wonderful host. Highly hospitable, generous with lovely and clean accommodation. His focus on the finer details is what makes the difference. Comfy bed & linen, awesome shower, and quality towels. Just what a traveller needs! Thanks Kris! Will see you again!

Bushchooks Travellers Village
Kris is an exceptional host, very friendly and ready to help you with anything. The room and facilities were very comfortable and cleaned, couldn't ask for better after hours on the road. We slept on a couple hostels a long the coast in QLD, and we can easily say that bushchooks was by far the best hostel! Highly recommended!
