Great staff and my little pup has made lots of friends. They genuinely care about the pups they have in their care.

Just fantastic!! The staff are lovely and our Bertie loves going there for daycare he gets really excited and I’m sure he doesn’t want to come home afterwards!!Our first experience at another local doggy daycare was horrible. It felt like “lotus glen” for dogs and they all looked miserable. Just stumbled across Pooches Parlour on Aumuller St by accident and so glad I popped in to have a look and meet the staff.We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Took our two poodles (raphy and donny) for a full cut and wash today. Perfect job! We are travelling around Australia and this has been the best cut yet.Highly recommend :)

I was so impressed with the work the ladies at Poochies did on my cat. I was worried about him being stressed and turning out looking uneven and silly but they did such a fantastic job. When i picked him up, he looked so cute and appeared so happy and relaxed. I will definitely be taking him there again and i think he may actually be looking forward to it also. Since we got home, he seems so confident and is even more cuddly than usual. Thank you so much ladies!

This is the best puppy day care EVER!!!Due to our reactive groodle’s anxiety, he requires a supportive environment when we’re at work. As he cannot be left alone for long periods of time, we wanted to find a daycare that can handle him. While he is not aggressive, he does react to certain situations like new people or new dogs, so he needs extra attention. We originally chose another day care near poochies bungalow that made us feel that our dog was ‘different’ or ‘an inconvenience’ to them. We contacted poochies unsure of our options & feeling really negative about our situation. Alison, Zion, Shoulee and the team were extremely understanding and made us feel welcomed straight away. The difference between poochies and any other daycare in cairns is that they truely care for your dog. Their team knows every dog by name and their unique personality traits. In addition, it's very difficult to find a groomer in Cairns who doesn't make your dog look patchy, and Alison's grooming is always top-notch 10/10. Their love for animals is so profound that they even have birthday parties to celebrate them with balloons, cake & photos! Life is to short to leave your dog at home by themselves. Poochies can be an excellent option if you are financially able, as your pup will be living their best life and getting the exercise and socialization they require.

Our 2 dogs LOVE going to Poochies for doggy daycare. Our oldest has been going since he was a puppy and when I wrote this he was 3 and a half years old and he still goes there. One day they noticed he was a bit under the weather so they put his in a separate air-conditioned room to rest and they called me - very, friendly and considerate staff. Poochies also do grooming and de-shedding. I highly recommend them.

My dogs love going to doggy day care. The staff love animals, understand canine behaviour and ensure that each fur baby is looked after and their individual quirks are accepted. My girls love it when one of their pals has a birthday party. Fun all around.

No greetings upon arrival and was informed my dog couldn't attend doggy day care due to not meeting certain vaccination requirements which were left out of my one month in ADVANCE phone call to the business and the reminder phone call the day before.The groom to the dog was unacceptable; charged $140 which is an absolute rip off. I enquired at the end of the visit why my long haired dogs coat (particularly the paw tuffs) had not been trimmed and was informed that this was extra and not included in the groom.The staff are not helpful and lack a certain enthusiasm required to maintain a business of this stature.Will not return additionally as my dog returned home dehydrated and scared.Do not recommended to any dog owner.

Booked dog in for Wash, clip/Nails and day care.Picked up at end of day and staff said request was on the board but we just didn't do - no apologies no nothing- just request for payment. Poor operation, lack of systems and control.Gave them a second chance and performed very well. Best grooming job ever on our dog and service has been great. Continuing customer
