This place has the best hamburgers. We had a plain hamburger each, and these things were huge! There is no way I could have finished one if I had added an extra like egg. We also ordered a small chips which we struggled to finish. Value for money is an understatement.

Friendly service. Enjoyed a good chat. Burgers were awesome. No EFTPOS due to heavy rains causing issues with underground NBN cabling

We were in Wollongong checking out the University and accommodation, and we stopped at The Galley". We were only gonna get chips but we couldn't go past the garlic encrusted fish

They need to pick up there game, Fish cocktails and chips, I watched being cooked and wrapped, Then it sat there on a cold shelf (where fresh food was kept) for about 13 - 15 minutes. While preping other orders it just sat there. After paying and a quick 1 and a half minute walk home to eat, 3/4 quarters of it was cold and fish was like eating rubber.

Use to like going to this place when I was younger now I've realized how filthy it is plus poor customer service got given raw meat Pattys said the bacon makes it look raw so that must mean it makes it taste raw aswell ? Felt sick ever since wouldn't recommend

Was treated rudely and I couldn’t understand why. Very unhygienic, especially during this COVID time. Before I was served, guy behind the counter had served other people, handled money (cash), touched other surfaces, was using a pen that had touched the floor.. and served other people. He did not wash his hands or sanitise and then touched the raw food in the display counter with his bare hands.. didn’t use any gloves. ( I understand bacteria is killed once cooked but this is no excuse) Order was messed up as well, asked for salt, didn’t get any, asked for 2 pieces of fish, only got one and I paid for two. Galley was perfectly happy enforcing the no mask no service regulation, but wasn’t practicing good hygiene. Overall food wasn’t very nice, only good thing was the price.
