I visit Abela’s every couple of months or so for the last 5 or 6 years, bought three rifles and a 12 gauge and there customer service has gotten worse. First friendly, now it’s cold and uninviting. There seems to be a dismissive attitude, don’t want to hear your story just tell us what u want. Other Gunshops I’ve enjoyed a good conversation with obviously the same interests.. Not here, unless you’re spending big or there own mates.

Went to the shop with my son today to possibly buy a rifle. Walked along the guns for about 20mins with no one approaching us. Looked around the shop for a few more minutes then went to the amo counter to buy amo for our upcoming trip. One guy was chatting at the end of the counter and another guy was on the phone at the register. We stood ther at the counter until he was off the phone then he ignored us and walked off. We walked out , no skin off my nose probably blew 2 or 3 k today.

First time buying and staff member Adrian took his time with me and didn't make me feel silly about questions due to my lack of knowledge or experience and he didn't rush me or look like he'd rather serve other people. Great experience with this shop and if you're new like me you've got nothing to worry about. I was pretty nervous but that soon went away with the instant rapport that was made, thankyou for the tips and recommendations, I feel really good about my purchase. see you next time. Cheers

Got a pair of hunting boots from here and the staff were really patient and helpful with me. I also did my firearms safety course and Rick was fantastic. Very informative and knowledgeable, great experience every time I’ve visited.

Unparalleled customer service, product knowledge and experience.This team doesn’t just sell the most expensive gear or best sellers; they ask the necessary questions to recommend the right product for you.I (stupidly) dry fired my compound bow and the line came off; one of the guys reinstalled and greased the bow and didn't even charge me for it.I also purchase ammo on a regular basis and these guys are always making suggestions and helpful recommendations.Strongly recommend.
