Manly Fish Market
Terribly disappointing. Served it grilled instead of deep fried as ordered. Fish tasted like egg whites. No flavoring. Chips were oversized... should be thinner for better flavor. Added half a bottle of weak vinegar just to get some taste. Wife had rainbow trout grilled as ordered but again no taste.

We’ve had our fair share of F&C this summer and this place is bursting with people waiting. No idea why because it was only just ok. We had better fish and chips at a pub on the other side on the wharf/marina area……and on Monday’s it came with a free pint.

Fish was nice, batter was crispy, chips were ok but a little bit chalky as someone else mentioned. Other than that, I like the set up, and that you can choose your preferred salts, special thanks to the young lady who served me today, she was really cute and had a nice smile. :)

Fresh tasting fish, but I have to buy my own sauce and self serve my own salt on the chips. It’s a bit overpriced to pay for a simple meal.

They claim to have the best Fish n Chips in Australia because of the good quality fish (Hake) they use and the corn oil they fry the fish in. Give them a try to determine this for yourself. Portions were generous and fish was crispy. Chips were crispy on on outside and fluffy on inside. Conveniently located right in front of Manly Beach.

This place is quite busy in the afternoon so ordered some fish and chips to eat and sit by the beach. Tried the crumbed snapper and was cooked perfectly. The chips were okay, but not to my preference. It was better than the traditional British style, where it's more soft and you relied on the salt and vinegar, but still wasn't crispy enough. Overall enjoyed it and would come back again!

Some say they offer the best fish and chips around town. Let’s try!!The fish portion is big and thick, very fresh, love their crispy chips. Best serve beside the beach..Love it.. recommended!
