Absolute worst if you walk in expect to be there for at least 2 hours. There are plenty of other medical centers in Mona Vale don’t waste your time.

Hi i have just been to the medical centre for my one year boy, when i miss the name, when the doctor called. There were no one else,been waiting there for 15min, new arrival of patients start to come, been wait for another 30min .. still name didnt come. She put the name way back ...wait another 30min... still name didnt came. When i asked the receptionist, she been very rude and told be she dont know how long do I have to wait...so i have to cancel it and go to mona vale medical centre..

I have been going to Gateway Medical Centre since they moved to Mona Vale, from Warriewood, probably around 20 odd years ago. In that time I have found all of the teams experience and professionalism to be well above any other Medical Centre in the Peninsular area. This is taking into consideration any hospitalisation. They are the best. Rob Miller

It's like a private practice. If you book you go to the head of the queue. Used to be just walk in bulk billed. NOT anymore. WHY???? Makes the wait times for walk in EXCESSIVE. Not everyone knows they are going to be sick? You get sick overnight and you need to see a doctor next day.

I have wanted to write a review for some time. The practice is strange to say the least. While some of the Doctors treat patients with a level of respect others are condescending, rude,dismissive and as for compassion well you will be hard up to find that. The reason I am writing this is that I have concerns for patients with mental health as I feel some of the practitioners could exacerbate or a further impact a persons mental health. I would strongly suggest that if you or a family member suffer from a mental health issue that you choose another practice to go to for support.

I was in the op shop below the medical center when I asked if there was a bathroom near by, I was told to just walk into the Medical Center so I did. I was feeling unwell, shaky and very panicked due to a new medication.I walked and almost got to the bathroom when a staff member physically blocked me with her body and began making a scene saying it’s not a public toilet, I have to be a customer. She was incredibly rude. I ran out to my car and vomited everywhere. There was no time to make it to any other bathroom.I understand I wasn’t booked in ‘that’ day to see a doctor but it is my local and I was u dee the impression that it would be allowed.I feel overwhelmed and disappointed with the staff’s behaviour, it’s not the first time I have found them rude and to be frank you would think that if you worked in a health service you should know how to handle situations better.I feel the staff need more training on topics such as these.I wouldn’t recommend going there if you can help it.

I booked telephone consult to simply get a script on a Saturday morning and was told a doctor would ring in a couple of hours but heard nothing. Phoned again in the afternoon and told by the receptionist a doctor would ring before 8pm. Sunday morning and I still haven't been contacted so I phoned again and was told a doctor will contact me before 1pm. Lets see if that happens.... It now makes sense why their automated phone message says hang up and dial 000 if you have an emergency .... you could be dead before you get a response from a doctor at this medical centre.

Mia was so helpful arranging an appointment as to get an appointment with Dr Vial can take weeks. I could not get in until June but rang me back with one the next day. She was a gem.

I was very happy to have been able to be squeezed in quickly and efficiently to see Dr Vial as I am going away this week. I did find it strange that masks were still requested but pleased that my stating that I do not wear one and know mask wearing does not prevent a virus was not disputed.

Told the girl behind the reception desk that i had just over one hour before i had to leave for work and i had also requested to see a particular doctor who was on!!!! She said thats ok wait time was less than an hour for that particular doctor !!!!! After waiting almost an hour i noticed other people who arrived at the surgery well after me were in fact being called in ahead of me so i approached the desk and asked why other people were going ahead of me. After talking to the girl behind reception her reason was that she had put me down to see the wrong doctor despite my numerous requests to make sure that i see the doctor of my choice please note that nothing was ever said about these people having prior appointments (as they no doubt will say that to discredit my version of events to save face). In the end I missed seeing my doctor wasted over an hour because some one was not listening to me when i made a very clear request
