Needed a Lintel for a garage door opening rather quickly.I called Joe and Sons who said they had all sizes in stock. I was sceptical so decided to take a drive to Five Dock and indeed they had exactly what I was looking for. In fact they had half a dozen of them. Bunnings didn't have any.Joes prices were very good too.So if you need builders supplies try Joe and Sons first. You might be surprised.

They said they were open on the public holiday long weekend, but closing at 1pm.. I arrived well before 1pm with a hired truck to pick up some reinforcement steel and the warehouse was closed... don’t say you’re open if you’re not as I could have made other arrangements.

Have been to the yard 3 times this week to grab some diy supplies while I’m on leave during the Xmas break. The only reason I made the trip is because Google says you’re open. Would be fantastic if Google actually reflected that you’re in fact closed for a week or so, and maybe when you plan to open back up again.

I am very surprised to read some of the last reviews criticising this companies building materials. I have been purchasing building materials from Joe and Sons for years including my father before me who was a concreter, they have always provided great service and quality materials.
