Ambrosia Barooga
Went to go to the bistro but the bistro was full so they suggested we go and eat in the fine dining ambrosia. It is a sectioned off area of the bistro. Ordered bruschetta and then the porchetta. The bruschetta was nice but the porchetta was inedible. I have never sent a meal back to the kitchen before in my life but I did with this. The pork was not warmed through and the pork fat and skin was not rendered at all. I asked the staff if it was meant to be like this and was told yes. I tried to eat it but was very worried about food poisoning so sent it back. My husband had the porterhouse medium rare and it was dry and well done. The whole meal was incredibly disappointing. My advice is that they should stick to pub classic meals and avoid so called fine dining as this was just terrible.
