My husband and I had a fantastic experience using JEC Air Conditioning for the installation of our new ducted AC upstairs as well as two split system units in our downstairs area.Each representative of the company we dealt with were professional and very pleasant. Everything went like clockwork and we were surprised at how quickly they were able to get it ordered and installed especially leading up to Christmas.I would highly recommend the installers, Steve & Zac. They made recommendations as to where to place the outlets so they were not obvious and operated more efficiently and left my house cleaner than when I went off to work each morning. They even put my husband's motor bike back in the carport as they needed to move it to get access. Thanks Gary and Max for your extra attention to the details, and the external finish was also neat and tidy. Thanks for a great job.

A great place to buy your air conditioning needs at good prices

Please state that you only service JEC air cons and train your staff to not speak to customers like they are stupid for not knowing that. Total waste of time.

A BAD AND UNNECESSARY EXPERIENCE:We purchased a new Fujitsu air conditioning system from JEC Air in late 2018. From the outset, and before we paid the final invoice, we complained about how poorly the unit performed in terms of cooling. We were assured by them it was functioning normally. A short time later, but after we had paid the invoice, I phoned them to say that the green on/off switch was flashing and told them the error code. I was told to turn off the circuit at the power board and then re-start it after 30 minutes. I did that and it re-started. They never came out to investigate the issue.This summer the unit has stopped on numerous occasions and each time I did the above fault recovery and it re-started. However, we were so underwhelmed by this problem and the unit’s cooling performance that we got a Fujitsu service company to come and see if they could improve its performance. They found the installation was faulty and gave us a written report outlining the problem. This same service company repaired the fault and re-charged the system.On the first really hot day since the repair the unit is working to our complete satisfaction. Each room is cool and comfortable.The repair and re-charge cost was $517.00, but JEC Air would not reimburse us.Our disappointment and discomfort could have easily been avoided if they had jumped on the problem right at the outset.At day one they should have recognised that the unit was not working properly and responded accordingly, but they didn’t!

Wouldn't allow us to book a service as we hadn't installed out aircondition unit with this company and them being to busy to take on new clients....

One of the best experiences that I have ever had in dealing with a company. From the moment Max came out to give a quote until the last bit of rubbish was cleared up my Marco and his young offsider, it was a joy to see it unfold. Polite, honest, accommodating, professional and extremely friendly service. I would not hesitate to recommend JEC Air to any one.. Romany

4 attempts and no solution.I live in a rented place and our unit stopped heating. After waiting 10 days for a technician, he said it’s a capacitor problem. So we waited a week more to change it. Then, two weeks later, AC stopped working again. Another technician came, saying it’s probably also a gas problem. So far, we are suffering from cold for the last 5 weeks, from incompetent service (why AC wasn’t properly checked the first time?), and complains from the JEC team how tight they are on people due to Covid. With all due respect, diagnosing and fixing all the issues would’ve saved 5 visits. The problem is still hasn’t been fixed, the frustration grows and despite our efforts, those guys are unmovable. We will use third party to fix the problem and will then get our landlord to pay, but I will suggest anyone to run away as afar as you can from JEC air-conditioning services. Our experience was shameful.

Max and his team did a fantastic, neat and a skilful job. Absolutely happy with the outcome. A complex job very well thought through and well excuted. Highly recommend this team.
