Leafy Lane trail head is a popular starting point for several walks in the Mapleton National Park. It's a pretty enough spot in its own right, but lacks facilities for barbecuing or picnicking. Walks range from just a few hundred metres to multi-day hikes with stopovers at Ubaji Walker's Camp or Thilba Thalba.
