Mystic Sands Beach
Quaint beach. Easy gradient into the ocean. As with most other beaches in north Queensland there was stinger risk and crocodile warning. Unmanned beach. No rescue/lifeguards. Access is not the easiest ...via a small inlet under the tree where there's a bench. Fresh water taps just before entering the beach. Coarse sand. Information board has a bottle of vinegar attached for first aid in case of stinger/irukandji stings.Very secluded, quaint, for that wild and lonely feeling.
