Had a delicious lunch on a fairly busy Friday. Staff were friendly; food was excellent and turned up promptly.

When we walked in, they were about to close as the lady in counter said. Was not a very welcoming reception. Then we ordered for a chai latte with almond milk, cappuccino, a meat pie, vanilla slice & a hazelnut croissant for 39$. That includes the 10% weekend surcharge. The chai latte cost 8$! That’s too expensive even with a surcharge and in the menu it only cost 4.20 plus a dollar for the almond milk. It’s really pricey for a cafe along a strip of shops. The ambiance is not spectacular to command costly menu and the quality of food is average. I am hoping that they can step up their customer service to compensate for everything. A warm welcome and goodbye and offering drinking water would help.I also hope that they review their prices and make it competitive. I saw in their menu that they are offering some nice options like a falafel bowl which we were not able to order because they are already closing and it looks yummy. I am not someone to give a low score but I hope that Platters will take this as a constructive review to make them work on areas that need improvements.

A charming café with exceptional service. The main waitress shines with her smile and attentive service adding a personal touch. That combined with the cafe's delicious menu it's a must visit for an enjoyable experience.

This place hasn’t learnt how to manage orders… Arrived, sat down, got served water… Ten minutes later still trying to wave to recall waiter to take food order. Located waiter and reminded her, but she continued to serve new customers at the counter. This is the second time this has happened. I’ve had better service at Maccas. Very very poor service.

$25 dollars for pancakes you would be expecting more than supermarket packets heated up in the microwave? You wonder why people don’t “shop local”Needs to be better, that’s daylight robbery
