Mid North Coast Maritime Museum
A really nice little museum packed with maritime history. The outside is very deceiving, the house looks much smaller than it is inside. The collection of maritime artefacts and information is outstanding and the volunteer effort is amazing. Very recommended if you are interested in Port Macquarie maritime history.

Mid North Coast Maritime Museum
Really interesting. For a tiny entrance fee a tour guide showed me and my son through the museum. Places like this need to be funded otherwise history will be lost.

Mid North Coast Maritime Museum
This a great little maritime museum set up in the old pilots cottage on the bluff above Town Beach. No boats but it has lots of small displays and information based on local the maritime history. Definitely worth a visit if you're into maritime history.

This museum is run by volunteers and it's a great place to learn the early maritime history of Port Macquarie. Volunteers were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended to visit.
