Capital Chemist Isabella Plains

I have been using this Chemist for over 10 years and have always been treated with utmost respect. Every visit to this Chemist is a very pleasant experience as all staff are extremely polite, well mannered, courteous, very respectful and more importantly most helpful. I will continue to visit on a monthly basis as I know I can trust and rely on Kathleen and her diligent staff. Thank you to all owners and staff for treating me with complete dignity over these years.

The staff here are excellent, always friendly, good advice and nothing is too much trouble.

This place is so unorganised. Worst chemist I’ve ever been to. There were 2 customers in front of me and the wait was about 15 minutes before I was served. A staff member behind the counter asked me if I was there for a prescription and I said I wasn’t, so she (new staff member?) told me to come to the front of the counter and get my item scanned. I excused myself past the lady in front of me, as I was told to go to the counter to pay for my item. The other lady working, who was wearing a face mask (the owner?), was incredibly rude and without even looking at me told me to go to the back of the line. I apologised and said it was because the other staff member told me to come to the front and get my item scanned. Again, in a rude tone, she just said to go to the back of the line without even acknowledging what the other staff member said, nor that I had apologised. I’m fine with waiting in queue, and that’s EXACTLY what I was doing until I was told to do otherwise. To be treated like a rude customer who’s trying to skip the queue because I was instructed to do so, by YOUR staff, and then receiving such an obnoxious response (from the owner?), is what made the entire experience extremely unpleasant. When the staff member who told me to go to the front served me, she didn’t even apologise for making a mistake. I asked her “why would you tell me to go the front of the line if I wasn’t going to get served? Now I just look like an idiot.” And she just said “oh, there’s a line.” Do you think I’m blind? I was WAITING in said line until you told me to go to the front!! Busy period? There were a total of 5 customers in the store at the time, is that considered busy? If so, then my statement about being unorganised, stands true.

One of my local pharmacies. Always helpful and always caring. Even though you may be visiting because you are having a hard time, you always leave feeling better than when you arrived.
